స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ బయోలాజికల్ పేరెంట్స్:

అబ్దుల్ ఫత్తాహ్ జందలి అనే అరబ్ ముస్లిం యువకుడు తన పిహెచ్.డి ని  పూర్తి చేయడానికి యూఎస్ లోని యూనివర్సిటీ అఫ్ విస్కాన్సిన్ కి వస్తాడు అక్కడ తను టీచింగ్ కూడా చేసేవాడు తాను చెప్పే క్లాస్ లో కాథోలిక్ అమ్మాయి జొఅన్నె కరోల్  శిబెల్ తో ప్రేమలో పడతాడు.

కరోల్ ఫ్యామిలీ కి ఈ సంబంధం నచ్చలేదు జందాలిని వదిలేయమని చెప్పారు కానీ కరోల్ రిలేషన్ ని కొనసాగిస్తోంది. 1954 లో కరోల్ వేసవి సెలవులు గడపడానికి వెళ్ళినప్పుడు ప్రెగ్నెంట్  అయ్యింది. కరోల్ ఫ్యామిలీ జందలితో పెళ్లికి అంగీకరించలేదు, ఆ రోజుల్లో అబార్షన్ చేయడం చట్ట విరుద్ధం అందుకే తన బిడ్డని దత్తత ఇచ్చేయాలి అనుకుంది. శిబెల్ సాన్ ఫ్రాన్సిస్కో లో ఫిబ్రవరి 24 , 1955 లో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ కి జన్మనిచ్చిది.

మరో వైపు పాల్ రెయిన్ హోల్డ్ జాబ్స్ తను పెళ్లి చేసుకోవడానికి అమ్మాయి ని వెతుక్కుంటూ సాన్ ఫ్రాన్సిస్కో వచ్చాడు అక్కడ క్లారా హాగోపియాన్ ను కలిసి పెళ్లి చేసుకున్నాడు. వీళ్ళకి పిల్లలు లేకపోవడం వల్ల స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ని దత్తత తీసుకుంటారు .

స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ బాల్యం :

చిన్నతనం లో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ తన తండ్రి తో పాటు గ్యారేజ్ లో సమయం కేటాయించడానికి ఇష్టపడేవారు. 10 సంవత్సరాలు ఉన్నపుడు స్టీవ్ కోరిక ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్ వైపు మళ్లింది. స్కూల్ లో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఎవరితో స్నేహం చేయలేదు కానీ ఇంటి ప్రక్కన ఉండే ఇంజనీర్స్ తో స్నేహం చేసేవారు.

1967 లో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఫ్యామిలీ కాలిఫోర్నియా కు బదిలీ అయ్యారు. 13సంవత్సరాలు ఉన్నపుడు తనకు తెలియకుండానే హెచ్ పి (HP) కో ఫౌండర్ బిల్ హ్యూలెట్ ను తన ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్ పార్ట్స్ కోసం కొన్ని పార్ట్స్ అడిగాడు అప్పుడు బిల్ హ్యూలెట్ ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్ పార్ట్స్ ఇవ్వడమే కాకుండా వేసవి కాలంలో తన దగ్గర జాబ్ లో పెట్టుకున్నాడు.

స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ కి ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్ లో ఇంట్రెస్ట్ ఉన్న బిల్ ఫెర్నాండేజ్ మరియు స్టీవ్ వజ్ నియాక్ స్నేహితులు అయ్యారు. స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ కి స్కూల్ అంటే ఇష్టం ఉండేది కాదు మరియు స్పోర్ట్స్ కూడా ఆడేవారు కాదు. అదే సమయంలో క్రిసన్ బ్రెన్నాన్ తో ప్రేమ లో పడ్డారు.

రీడ్ కాలేజీ లో అడ్మిషన్ తీసుకున్న కొన్ని రోజులకే మానేసారు, ఎందుకంటే అక్కడ ఫీజు చాలా ఎక్కువ ఉండేది ఆ తర్వాత కాలిగ్రఫీ నేర్చుకున్నారు అందుకనే మాక్ లో అనేక విధాల ఫాంట్స్ ఉంటాయి. రీడ్ కాలేజీ కి వెళ్లడం లేదని తన గర్ల్ ఫ్రెండ్ కి చెప్పగా తానూ కూడా సపోర్ట్ చేసింది.కొన్ని రోజుల తర్వాత గర్ల్ ఫ్రెండ్ కూడా కలవడం తగ్గించింది. ఆ సమయం లో ఫ్రెండ్స్ రూమ్ లో ఫ్లోర్ పై పడుకునేవారు. ఆహరం కోసం కోక్ బాటిల్స్ అమ్ముకున్నారు ఇంకా అక్కడే ఉన్న హరే రామ టెంపుల్ లో వారానికి ఒక సారి వెళ్లి అక్కడ పెట్టే భోజనం తినేవారు.

స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్, వజ్ నియాక్ స్టార్ట్ అప్ :

1973 లో స్టీవ్ వజ్ నియాక్ పాంగ్ అనే గేమ్ ని డిజైన్ చేసాడు ఈ గేమ్ ని స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ అటారీ ఇంకనే కంపెనీ కి ఇచ్చారు అప్పుడు ఆ కంపెనీ స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఈ గేమ్ ని తయారు చేసాడు అనుకొని తనకి టెక్నీషియన్ జాబ్ ఇచ్చారు. తనలో ఆధ్యాత్మికత ని పెంచడానికి ఇండియా వెళ్లాలని అనుకున్నారు అక్కడ పని చేస్తూ డబ్బులు జమ చేసేవారు. ఆ డబ్బులతో ఇండియా లో ఏడూ నెలలు గడిపారు.

వజ్ నియాక్ కాస్ట్ డిజిటల్ బ్లూ బాక్స్ ని తయారు చేసినప్పుడు వీటిని అమ్మి డబ్బును సంపాదించాలని అనుకున్నారు కానీ ఈ బ్లూ బాక్స్ ఆ సమయం లో ఇల్లీగల్ కాబట్టి పెద్దగా సంపాదించలేదు. కానీ ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ డివైసెస్ అమ్మి బాగా సంపాదించ వచ్చు అని స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ మరియు వజ్ నియాక్ కు అర్థమైంది.

ఆపిల్ 1 కంప్యూటర్ :

మార్చి 5, 1975 లో స్టీవ్ వజ్ నియాక్ హోమ్ బ్రు కంప్యూటర్ క్లబ్ కి వెళ్లి చాలా ప్రేరణ పొందాడు. ఈ క్లబ్ లో కంప్యూటర్ పై ఆసక్తి ఉన్న వాళ్ళు అక్కడ కలుసుకునేవారు. అక్కడి ఇన్స్పిరేషన్ తో 1976 వజ్ నియాక్ ఆపిల్ 1 కంప్యూటర్ ని డిజైన్ చేసాడు.

ఆపిల్ 1 కంప్యూటర్ ని స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ కి చూపించగా తానూ ఆపిల్ 1 ని అమ్మాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నారు. ఇక ఆ రోజు స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ , వజ్ నియాక్,రోనాల్డ్ వేన్ ముగ్గురు కలిసి స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ గ్యారేజ్ లో ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ ని స్థాపించారు. కొన్ని రోజుల తర్వాత వేన్ కంపెనీ వదిలేసాడు ఆ తర్వాత జాబ్స్, వజ్ నియాక్ కంపెనీ కో ఫౌండర్స్ అయ్యారు.

ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ పేరు :

ఆపిల్ కి ఆపిల్ పేరు ఎలా వచ్చింది అంటే,స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఒరెగాన్ లో ఆపిల్ ఫారం లో కొంత సమయం గడిపి తిరిగి వచ్చేటప్పుడు వజ్ నియాక్ కి తన కంప్యూటర్ పేరు ఆపిల్ పెడదామని చెప్పాడు. కానీ కంప్యూటర్ పేరు కొన్ని టెక్నికల్ వర్డ్స్ ఉపయోగించి పెడితే బాగుంటుందని అనుకున్నారు. వేరే పేరు వాళ్ళకి తోచక పోవడం లేక నచ్చక పోవడం వల్ల ఆపిల్ నే ఫైనల్ గా కంప్యూటర్ పేరు గా నిర్ణయించారు.

ఆపిల్ 1 కంప్యూటర్ లో చిప్ తో కూడిన సర్క్యూట్ బోర్డు, డుమోంట్ టీవీ సెట్, పానాసోనిక్ కాస్సెట్ టేప్ డెక్ మరియు ఒక కీబోర్డ్ ను ఉపయోగించి ఆపిల్ 1 కంప్యూటర్ ని సుమారుగా తనకి 21 సంవత్సరంలో ఉన్నపుడు ప్రారంభించారు. స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఇన్వెస్టర్స్ కోసం గంటల కొద్దీ తన కిచెన్ లో నుండి కాల్స్ చేసి మాట్లాడేవారు. ఇదే సమయంలో తన గర్ల్ ఫ్రెండ్ బ్రెన్నాన్ తో మరొకసారి ప్రేమలో పడతారు.

స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ గర్ల్ ఫ్రెండ్ :

1977 లో జాబ్స్ మరియు వజ్ నియాక్ ఆపిల్ 2 కంప్యూటర్ ని రీలీజ్ చేసారు. ఆ సమయంలో అదొక పెద్ద సక్సెసఫుల్ ప్రోడక్ట్ గా మారింది. స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ గర్ల్ ఫ్రెండ్ కూడా ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ లో పని చేయడం స్టార్ట్ చేసింది, అదే సమయంలో తను ప్రెగ్నెంట్ అయ్యింది ఈ విషయం స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ కి చెప్పింది. స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ కి ఈ విషయం నచ్చలేదు అలాగని అబార్షన్ కూడా చేయించలేదు.

తన గర్ల్ ఫ్రెండ్ కడుపులో ఉన్నది తన బిడ్డ కాదని స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ కి డౌట్ ఉండేది అంతేకాకుండా డబ్బుల సహాయం కూడా చేసేవాడు కాదు. దీనివల్ల బ్రెన్నాన్ చాలా కష్టాలు అనుభవించింది కానీ చివరికి వీళ్ళిద్దరిని రాబర్ట్ ఫ్రిడ్ల్యాండ్ అనే ఫ్రెండ్ కలిపాడు.స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ తన నాన్న వయసు 23 సంవత్సరంలో ఉన్నపుడు పుట్టాడు అలాగే స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ కి కూడా 23 ఏళ్ళు ఉన్నపుడు పాప పుట్టింది. ఇద్దరు కూతురి పేరు లిసా పెట్టాలని అనుకున్నారు.

ఆ సమయంలో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఒక కంప్యూటర్ ని మార్కెట్ లో లాంచ్ చేయడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నారు ఆ కంప్యూటర్ కి తన కూతురి పేరు పెట్టాలని అనుకున్నారు.కానీ బ్రెన్నాన్ దీనికి ఒప్పుకోలేదు.అప్పుడు స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ తెలివిగా “లోకల్ ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ సాఫ్ట్వేర్ ఆర్కిటెక్చర్ ” అనే పేరు ని సృష్టించాడు.ఈ పేరు షార్ట్ ఫామ్ ని లిసా గా చేసి ఆపిల్ “లిసా” అనే కంప్యూటర్ ని రిలీజ్ చేసారు.

1978 లో నే $1 మిలియన్ డాలర్ సంపాదించాడు అప్పుడు తన వయసు 23 సంవత్సరాలు. 25 ఏళ్ళు వచ్చేటప్పటికి $250 మిలియన్ డాలర్స్ సంపాదించాడు.ఇలా అతి చిన్న వయసులోనే ఫోర్బ్స్ ధనవంతుల జాబితాలో చోటు సంపాదించారు.

స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ సక్సెస్ :

1978 సంవత్సరంలో మైక్ స్కాట్ కంపెనీ సిఈఓ గా నియమించబడ్డారు, ఈ సమయంలో కంపెనీ చాలా సమస్యలు ఎదురుకోవలిసి వచ్చింది. 1983 లో పెప్సీ కోల కంపెనీ సీఈఓ ని ఆపిల్ సీఈఓ గా చేరమన్నాడు. నువ్వు జీవితాంతం చక్కెర నీళ్లు అమ్ముతావా లేక ప్రపంచం మొత్తని మార్చే అవకాశాన్ని వినియోగించుకుంటావా అని ప్రశ్నించాడు.

1984 లో ఆపిల్ మసీన్తోష్ రిలీజ్ చేసింది ఇది లిసా కంప్యూటర్ ని ఆధారంగా చేసుకొని తయారు చేసారు. అదే సమయంలో బిల్ గేట్స్ కూడా మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ కంపెనీ ని స్టార్ట్ చేసి విండోస్ ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్ తయారు చేసాడు.

అయితే బిల్ గేట్స్ ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ తయారు చేసే అప్లికేషన్ కొన్ని రోజులు ఆపాలని కోరాడు. ఎందుకంటే బిల్ గేట్స్ తాను తను తయారు చేసే ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్ ఒకేమాదిరి ఆపిల్ లాగానే ఉందని ఎవ్వరు అనకూడదని ఆపిల్ అప్లికేషన్స్ ఆపమని కోరాడు.తను సొంతంగా విండోస్ ని తయారు చేసి లైసెన్స్ వచ్చిన తర్వాత ఆపిల్ అప్లికేషన్స్ ని స్టార్ట్ చేసుకోమని కోరాడు.

స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఆపిల్ ను వదిలేయడం:

అప్పటి సీఈఓ స్క్యూలీ (John Sculley) మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ కి లైసెన్స్ ఇచ్చాడు ఆ తర్వాత ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ కి కష్టాలు ఎదురు అయ్యాయి.మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ చీప్ అవ్వడం వల్ల ఆపిల్ కన్నా మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ సేల్స్ బాగా పెరిగాయి. స్క్యూలీ కి జాబ్స్ కి చాల విషయాల్లో మనస్పర్థలు వచ్చాయి. చివరికి 1985 లో బోర్డు అంత జాబ్స్ ని మసీన్తోష్ నుంచి తీసేసి న్యూ ప్రోడక్ట్ అభివృద్ధి కి మార్చారు. ఇలా చేసిన తర్వాత జాబ్స్ కి పవర్ లేకుండా పోయింది.సెప్టెంబర్ 17, 1985  లో ఇదంతా నచ్చక స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ మరియు కొంత సీనియర్ ఉద్యోగులు ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ ని వదిలేసారు. ఈ సమయంలో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ నెక్స్ట్ (Next) అనే కంపెనీ ని తయారు చేసాడు.

1986 లో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఫిక్సర్ అనే కంప్యూటర్ గ్రాఫిక్స్ కంపెనీ లో కూడా ఇన్వెస్ట్ చేసాడు. ఈ రోజు ఈ కంపెనీ చాలా సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ కంపెనీ గా మారింది. 1997 లో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ మల్లి ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ లో రావాలని కోరారు అప్పుడు మళ్ళీ స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ లో అడుగు పెట్టాడు.

క్యాన్సర్ :

2003 సంవత్సరంలో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ కి కాన్సర్ ఉన్న సంగతి తెలిసింది. జనవరి 2011 సంవత్సరంలో ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ కి రాజీనామా చేసాడు.అక్టోబర్ 2011 లో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ మృతిచెందాడు.

ఇప్పటికి ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ ప్రపంచంలో ఒక బ్రాండెడ్ కంపెనీ గా పిలవటం జరుగుతుంది.

1944 ఫిబ్రవరి 24న శాన్ ఫ్రాన్సిస్కోలో జన్మించిన స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్‌ని పాల్ మరియు క్లారా జాబ్స్ అనే దంపతులు దత్తత తీసుకున్నారు. ఆ తర్వాత కాలిఫోర్నియాలోని క్యూపర్టినోలో ఉన్న హైస్కూల్ చదువు పూర్తి చేసి 1972లో వోరెగాన్ రాష్ట్రంలోని పోర్ట్‌లాండులో రీడ్ కాలేజీలో చేరాడు. ఆయన లారెన్ పాల్‌ను 1991లో పెళ్లి చేసుకున్నాడు. వారికి ఓ కుమారుడు, ఇద్దరు కుమారులు ఉన్నారు. అపిల్ ఇన్‌కార్పోరేషన్‌ను నెలకొల్పడానికి ముందు స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ పిక్సర్ యానిమేషన్ స్టూడియోసల్ చీఫ్ ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్‌గా పనిచేశారు. ది వాల్ట్ డిస్నీ కంపెనీ డైరెక్టర్స్ బోర్డులో కూడా ఉన్నారు.

1976లో స్టీవ్ వోజ్‌నైక్ భాగస్వామ్యంతో ఆపిల్ కంపెనీని స్థాపించాడు. మొదట ప్రింటెడ్ సర్క్యూట్ బోర్డులు మాత్రమే తయారు చేయాలనుకున్నా, చివరకు పూర్తి కంప్యూటర్లు తయారు చేయగలిగారు. మొట్టమొదటి కంప్యూటర్‌ను 666.66 డాలర్లకు అమ్మారు. అప్పటినుండి ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ కంప్యూటర్ రంగంలో కీలకస్థానాన్ని ఆక్రమించింది. 1980లో IPO వలన జాబ్స్ కోటీశ్వరుడయ్యాడు. 1984లో ప్రవేశపెట్టబడిన మ్యాకింటోష్ మరొక అత్యద్భుత మైలురాయిగా నిలిచిపోయింది.

ఆపిల్ కంపెనీని ఎంతో ఉన్నత స్థాయికి తీసుకెళ్ళిన జాబ్స్ పద్దతులు కొందరు ఉద్యోగులకు నచ్చేవి కాదు. 1984 చివరలో ఏర్పడిన మాంద్యం వల్ల ఆశించినమేరకు వ్యాపారం జరుగకపోవడంతో 1985లో జాబ్స్ ను మ్యాకింటోష్ విభాగ అధిపతి పదవినుండి తొలగించారు.

తాను ప్రారంభిన కంపెనీలో తనకు ప్రాముఖ్యత లేకపోవడంతో జాబ్స్ 1986లో ఒక్కటి తప్ప తనవద్ద ఉన్న అన్ని షేర్లు అమ్మివేసాడు. ఆ ఒక్క షేర్ పెట్టుకోవడం వెనుక రకరకాల కారణాలు ప్రాచుర్యంలో ఉన్నాయి. తాను కూడా ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ స్టాక్ రిపోర్ట్ అందుకోవడానికి, కంపెనీ సమావేశాల్లో పాల్గొనడానికి ఆ ఒక్క షేర్ ఉపయోగపడుతుందని జాబ్స్ దానిని అలాగే పెట్టుకొన్నాడు అని ఒక కథనం.

కంప్యూటర్లు మాత్రమే కాకుండా పోర్టబుల్ మ్యూజిక్ ప్లేయర్ అయిన ఐపాడ్‌ను ఆవిష్కరించి ఆపిల్‌ను ఎవరూ అందుకోలేని స్థానానికి తీసుకెళ్ళిన ఘనత స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్‌కు దక్కుతుంది. ఆపిల్ కంపెనీ CEOగా జాబ్స్ జీతం సంవత్సరానికి కేవలం ఒక్క డాలరు ($1) మాత్రమే. ప్రపంచంలో అత్యల్ప జీతం తీసుకొనే CEO గా గిన్నీస్ బుక్‌లో స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ పేరు నమోదయింది. జాబ్స్‌కు ప్రస్తుతం ఆపిల్ కంపెనీలో 7,500,000 షేర్లు ఉన్నాయి. 2007 ఫోర్బ్స్ జాబితా ప్రకారం స్టీవ్ జాబ్స్ ఆస్థి విలువ 5.7 బిలియన్ డాలర్లు.

56 సంవత్సరాల వయసులో క్యాన్సర్ భాదతో ఆయన బుధవారం రాత్రి(అక్టోబర్ 5, 2011) కన్నుమూసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఆ సమయంలో ఆయన భార్య పక్కనే ఉన్నారు. తాను ఉదర సబంధమైన క్యాన్సర్‌తో బాధపడుతున్నట్లు జాబ్స్ 2004లో ప్రకటించారు. ఇటీవలే ఆగస్టులో సిఇవో పదవి నుంచి వైదొలగి ఆ బాధ్యతను టిమ్ కుక్‌కు అప్పగించారు. స్టీవ్‌ జాబ్స్‌ అంత్యక్రియలు కొద్ది మంది కుటుంబసభ్యుల మధ్య జరిగినట్లు మీడిమా సమాచారం.

The Telugu version of the biography of ‘Steve Jobs’ is going to be released at a function scheduled for Thursday evening at the Rotary auditorium near Kalpana Junction. Penned in English by Walter Isakson, the biography is translated into Telugu by writer Godavarthy Satyamurthy. Personality development trainer B.V. Pattabhi Ram will be the chief guest and Rotary district governor D.V.R. Poosha will receive the first copy. Poet K. Ramachandra Reddy will review the work, according to a press release issued here on Wednesday.
