Savitribai Phule Pune University Launches PhD Portal for Easy Access to Complete Information

‘Ph.D Admission and Tracking Portal’ was unveiled at Savitribai Phule Pune University. The portal, established for the convenience of PhD aspirants and students, was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Gosavi, Vice-Chancellor of the University.

On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Parag Kalkar, In-charge Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Khare, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Munjaji Rasve, Assistant Registrar Mohan Belekar, Shripad Burkule, Manager of Information Technology Room Nitin Patil, Jhunjar Bhamre, Chief Executive Officer of SPPU Edutech Foundation Deepak Hardikar, Ashok Kale and others were present.

As per further information, the number of PhD students in Savitribai Phule Pune University is increasing every year. This portal has been established to solve the queries of these students, to clear their doubts. All the information related to PhD pre-admission test, admission, course, eligibility and fee is provided on this portal.

SPPU Streamlines PhD Journey with Launch of Admission and Tracking Portal

Pune : In a significant move to enhance accessibility and convenience for Ph.D. aspirants and students, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has launched the ‘Ph.D. Admission and Tracking Portal.’ The portal, inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Gosavi, Vice-Chancellor of the University, aims to streamline the entire process from admission to tracking the progress of Ph.D. journeys.

The launch event witnessed the presence of prominent figures, including Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Parag Kalkar, In-charge Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Khare, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Munjaji Rasve, Assistant Registrar Mohan Belekar, and other university officials.

The initiative comes in response to the increasing number of Ph.D. students at SPPU, addressing their queries and providing a one-stop solution for information related to pre-admission tests, admission procedures, courses, eligibility criteria, and fees.

Pune: For PhD candidates, SSPU introduces an online tracking system

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has introduced an online tracking system where PhD candidates can track the status of their thesis. For PhD candidates in the dark about the future of their thesis even months after submission, there’s some good news. There are nearly 5,000 registered PhD candidates at the varsity, officials said. With the online tracking, the candidate can check if this was sent in time or not. The online system will also help the university track details such as the total number of candidates per PhD guide, whether candidates are finishing their thesis in the stipulated time, details of the PhD guides and their approvals.

About Online Examination  

Online Sample Test (Demo Examination) As a part of preparation for online examination, an ‘Online Sample Test’ examination shall be made available on the same website. Link to access Online Sample Test (demo Examination) is available, only after login with registered username and password. The Online Sample Test (demo Examination) is only available to applicants whose application is “Approved” by the University Authorities and will be appearing for the Online Ph.D. Entrance Examination. Access to this Online Sample Test (demo Examination) does not validate the acceptance of your application by Savitribai Phule Pune University. After acceptance/approval of the application, applicant will receive the confirmation email. This Online Sample Test (demo Examination) is intended, to give experience of the navigation, look and feel of the online test to the applicants. Please note the following

Overview Candidates will receive login credentials and a link to examination site on the day of exam through email. Candidates will use these credentials to logon to examination website. On successful login, candidates will be required to take an automated video interview. On completion of the video interview, candidates will see online examination questions. Candidate examination will end either when the candidate submits the exam or when the examination timer expires. Website A link to the examination website will be mentioned in an email sent to candidates on the day of examination, wherein username and password will be mentioned. Candidates will use this website to start their exam. Video Interview On successful login to examination website, candidates will have to complete an automated video interview first. Video interview will start automatically. Webcam, microphone and high-speed Internet connection is required to complete the video interview. Website will guide the candidate step-by-step in the procedure. Online Examination After the video interview is completed, candidates’ online examination will begin. Candidates might have to login again if the session has expired. Online examination is a set of Multiple Choice questions. Candidates will have fixed amount of time to complete the examination. Candidates can end their exam by clicking on “Submit Test” button. Examination will be automatically submitted if the candidate exceeds allotted time. Candidates will not be able to login again once the exam is submitted/completed. Candidate System Requirements Latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Adobe Flash Player should be working properly in the browser. Webcam Microphone High-Speed and reliable internet connection
