Sharepoint Teams - Can't past slides into PPT
I uploaded a PPT file into Sharepoint through Teams. I'm trying to add slides. Worlking in Chrome, the error message says I have to use CTRL V to paste slides, but that doesn't work. How do I paste these slides?

Hi Frankcurious,
Thanks for sharing updates with us and I really appreciate your effort and your precious time and I know it effect on your daily work and I apologize for this.
As you mentioned, “From the browser app -- I added the extension. Gives me the "paste' option now. But when I click on paste, still nothing is imported from the master that I pasted from ” if you use another browser e.g., Microsoft Edge browser does you are able to paste the slide into PowerPoint for web? It will help for us to narrow down your issue whether issue related with specific browser or PowerPoint itself.
Regarding to “ in the desktop sharepoint mode, I cannot see/access the REVIEW SHOW COMMENTS or NEW COMMENT to see ” As per you mentioned screenshot, I notice you are in “Slide sorter” mode and I would like to convey that’s why comments or new comments option is greyed out. See image below.
To see or add new comments, go to view tab in your PowerPoint and click on Normal mode and you should be able to see and add new comments in your PowerPoint. See below image for your reference:
I appreciate your understanding and stay safe!!
Best Regards
Waqas Muhammad

Our users post just 1 slide to this slide library and when someone selects a few of slides and click on "Copy Slides to Presentation" they automatically open up MSPowerPoint with all slides put together. On our O365, no pop-ups show up and it just Refreshes page (does nothing). What could be a solution or workaround in this case? Thank you!
We are using Sharepoint 2013 and we have a workaround for creating slide libraries since it is not easily available in the options. Our IT Department has been unable to solve this issue but for some people they can copy their slides to a presentation just fine.
No, it's not a bug, it's a faulty "Expected result" :-) The simplified explanation is... When you "copy a slide" you're not actually copying the slide, you're only copying what is actually on the slide. The Background is not an integral component of the individual slides.
I found that slides with review comments are the culprit. If a slide contains a review comment, it allows you to copy it, and paste options are available, but nothing happens. If only one slide in a group of 10 slides I want to copy has a comment, the entire copy job fails.

However, when added as a Webpart the "Copy slides to presentation" button disappears and renders the whole concept useless! I have found a link to a blog post explaining how to rebuild this functionality but for the life of me can not make it work.
Click a slide thumbnail to copy it into the current presentation. By default, an imported slide keeps the colors and formatting of the presentation it comes from. When you're done importing slides from the selected presentation, you can close the pane or search for other slides to import.
I agree the copy or move files and folders in SharePoint (or OneDrive for Business) functionality via browser is precarious. One way to check if the process is still working is to check for the folder details.
Save yourself time and work by copying a slide — either from the presentation you’re working on or from a separate presentation. When you copy one or more slides from a presentation to a location within the same presentation or to another presentation, you can specify the theme that you want the new slides to adopt.
