100 Words Essay on Garbage Problem Solution
Understanding the garbage issue.
Our world has a big problem with trash. Every day, we throw away tons of waste, which piles up and hurts our planet. This waste can harm animals, plants, and even us.
Reducing Waste
One way to fix the garbage problem is by making less trash. We can use things more than once, like water bottles and bags. Choosing products with less packaging also helps.
Recycling and Composting
Another solution is recycling. This means turning old things into new ones. Composting is similar but for food and garden waste. It turns them into good soil.
Proper Disposal
Lastly, throwing trash in the right place is important. This means not littering and following local rules for garbage disposal to keep our environment clean.
250 Words Essay on Garbage Problem Solution
Our world has a big problem with garbage. Every day, we make a lot of trash like plastic, paper, and food waste. This trash can harm our planet. It can make the land, water, and air dirty. If we don’t take care of this trash, it can make animals and people sick.
Reducing Trash
One way to solve the garbage problem is to make less trash. We can do this by using things again instead of throwing them away. For example, we can use a water bottle many times instead of using a new one each time. We can also fix things like toys and clothes so we can keep using them.
Recycling means taking things like paper and plastic and making them into new things. This helps because we don’t need to get new materials from nature. Composting is when we turn food waste into food for plants. We can put banana peels and apple cores in a compost bin, and they will turn into something that helps plants grow.
When we do have trash, we need to throw it away the right way. This means putting it in the correct bins so it can go to places that can handle it safely. Some trash can be dangerous, like batteries, and needs special care so it doesn’t hurt the environment.
Everyone’s Role
To solve the garbage problem, everyone needs to help. This means people at home, schools, and businesses. If we all work together, we can make less trash, recycle more, and keep our planet clean and safe for everyone.
500 Words Essay on Garbage Problem Solution
Introduction to garbage problems.
Our world has a big problem with trash. Every day, we make lots of waste from our homes, schools, and workplaces. This waste can be things like plastic bottles, food scraps, and old papers. When we don’t handle this trash the right way, it can harm our planet. It can make our water dirty, hurt animals, and make the air unpleasant to breathe.
Why We Need to Care About Trash
Taking care of our trash is important because we all share the same Earth. If we let trash pile up, it can make our neighborhoods look bad and can also spread sickness. Plus, some trash, like plastic, can take hundreds of years to break down. This means it will stay in our environment for a very long time, causing problems for many generations of people and animals.
Reducing Our Trash
One way to solve the trash problem is to make less trash. We can do this by using things more than once. For example, instead of using a new plastic bag every time we shop, we can bring a bag from home that we can use many times. We can also choose to buy things that don’t have a lot of packaging or that use materials that are better for the environment.
Recycling is when we take things we have used, like bottles and cans, and make them into new things. This helps because it means we don’t need to use new materials from the Earth to make more products. Composting is another way to help. It means taking food scraps and other natural waste and letting them break down into a kind of dirt that can help plants grow. This is good because it turns waste into something useful and helps reduce the amount of trash.
Proper Trash Disposal
When we do have trash, it’s important to throw it away the right way. This means putting it in bins that are for trash and not just leaving it on the ground. In many places, there are different bins for different kinds of waste, like one for recycling, one for compost, and one for trash that can’t be used again. Using these bins the right way helps keep our environment clean.
Technology and Innovation
Scientists and inventors are always trying to find new ways to deal with trash. They are creating machines that can sort trash into different types without humans having to do it. They are also working on ways to turn trash into energy that we can use to power our homes and cars. This is exciting because it can help solve our trash problem and give us clean energy at the same time.
The trash problem is something we all need to work on. By making less trash, recycling, composting, and throwing away our trash the right way, we can help keep our planet clean and safe. With the help of new technology, we can find even better ways to deal with our waste. It’s important for everyone, including kids, to do their part in solving the trash problem. When we all help, we can make a big difference for our world.

Garbage Pollution
1. introduction.
In recent years, the spread of technology and industry has triggered a substantial rise in the production of waste. Furthermore, the global population is growing at a very fast pace and as a result, the rate of garbage generation is also increasing. It is estimated that on average, each person generates about 3.5 kilograms of waste every day. In some countries, waste generation is as high as 5.5 kilograms per person per day. With the increasing amount of garbage being produced and the effect of the garbage pollution on the environment, it has posed a pressing problem for the entire globe. Garbage pollution is a serious problem because it not only has an impact on aesthetics and the environment, but also can have harmful effects on the economy and standard of living. First of all, it can be seen with the naked eye that the pollution, which consists of candy wrappers, plastic bottles and bags, glass bottles, and many other types of garbage, is omnipresent in the streets, schools, office buildings, and parks. This sort of sight is not a bit pleasant to all of us and we are reminded to be jailed by the pollution all the time. It makes the whole city look dirty and unpleasant. Nevertheless, it is common knowledge that not many people really believe that garbage pollution can have any effect on the city. However, many people are seriously affected by various kinds of illnesses resulting from the pollution. Some of the more common illnesses are chronic bronchitis and asthma. These diseases flourish well in the cities, which means the cities are not getting any healthier. It is found that in poorer neighborhoods, sicknesses such as diarrhea and running nose are much more common. This can be caused directly by consuming the water or food that has been contaminated by the termed garbage pollution. On the other hand, these nuisances can also be due to the encouragement of the growth of certain pests such as flies and rats, which are the effects of the pollution as well. This can be harmful to the resources in the country. The surroundings of the water sources are usually the symptoms of the pollution. Fast food packaging, tires, Styrofoam cups, and disposable diapers are easily seen at the side of the roads or on the vegetation and muddy banks of streams. This is due to the popularity of these areas as a dumping ground for some of the people who are notorious for the pollution. For most of the cities all around the world, the landfill is the most popular way for solid waste to be managed. However, if the garbage pollution problem is not properly managed, it will have a lot of negative impact. For example, the landfill will pollute the surrounding environment. When the rainwater percolates through the layers of the deposited refuse, the decomposition of the refuse will also produce a liquid that is high in harmful bacteria and chemicals. This liquid is known as leachate and it can filter through the layers of refuse and also flood the surrounding areas. These are very harmful to the environment and can even kill any plant that grows in the area. Besides, the smell of the landfill will also permeate the area and make it unbearable for people who stay near the area. Last but not least, the landfill needs plenty of space to breed and grow. This can cause the unnecessary waste of land. On top of that, poisonous gas will also be produced and cause air pollution. Well, air pollution can have a very damaging effect on human beings as it can cause illness and certain hardships in health!
1.1 Causes of Garbage Pollution
Garbage pollution is a consequence of human habits and behavior. The primary causes of garbage pollution are a result of poor recycling habits, littering, deforestation, and excessive plastic use. The reasons as to why this type of pollution exists and persists is that society is not working together to make the environment clean and livable. The lack of education and awareness in society obliges every man and woman to be respectful of the environment. Predominantly, the limited availability of environmental resources. There should be a lot of garbage cans, and the garbage cans should be big enough for the disposal of a large amount of garbage. Therefore, offering nearby locations for disposal will show a big impact on the quality of recycled material. On the other hand, industries are well-known contributors to polluting the environment. It has been observed that the existence of less strict regulations or the ineffective course of actions for environmental protection. As a result, pollutants in the environment from many industrial activities will continuously produce and lead to garbage pollution. Specifically, the majority of the industrial waste and residential waste are not being separated, so it is hauled to the landfill as a single stream. It is mentioned that approximately 70% of the total industrial waste is disposed in the biggest dump place called landfill as well. As a result, it leads to the release of different gases during the processing and eventually harms the environment, such as carbon dioxide gas which can lead to global warming. Well, based on the monitoring of landfill gaseous emissions in the United States, it shows that the emissions are a lot from the process of primary and secondary biodegradation. Huge amounts of methane and carbon dioxide are found to emit from the landfill site.
1.2 Effects of Garbage Pollution
Land pollution Garbage is disposed of in open spaces - mainly in rural areas and in small towns. Open waste dumping is a major cause of land pollution. In India, the garbage problem is not just limited to the urban areas. The garbage generated by households, offices, schools, colleges, industries, and hospitals is thrown in the surrounding fields. There are many effects of garbage pollution - in both the long term and the short term. Some of the short-term effects of garbage pollution are those that affect the animal and human population living near and around the sites of garbage. Animals living in garbage habitats are particularly impacted by the pollution. Many birds, insects, pets, and wildlife are injured and killed by the litter generated by garbage. Livestock and wild animals die from eating food from garbage dumps. This can lead to ecological imbalance in the area. Human population is equally affected by the short-term effects of garbage pollution. Such people are more prone to diseases, infections, and viruses. Convincing evidence also indicates that garbage pollution is a contributor to global warming because landfill gases are a big source of methane - one of the most potent greenhouse gases. Over the long term, the effects of garbage pollution are predictably far more severe. For instance, plastic materials can retain toxic chemicals, such as DDT, for long periods of time. Landfills in particular create many problems. While they are lined with barriers to prevent seepage, heavy rains can cause water to flow over the barrier and carry contaminants with it in what is termed "leachate". In the long term, the medical waste, plastic, papers, and chemicals in garbage could take a long time to degrade in a landfill. This will end up contaminating the soil and groundwater. Sea pollution Sea pollution is a major disaster waiting to happen. The rapid growth in plastic production and consumption has transformed the material into the main source of marine litter. Sea pollution is classified into two categories: pollution from a single, and typically point, source (such as an oil spill) and pollution from multiple diffuse areas - known as sea pollution (this term is also used to describe air pollution caused by sea vessels). It is difficult to control and clean up the types of pollution because they usually come from many different locations and many different types of pollution. Sea pollution is the result of garbage that is directly or indirectly dumped into the oceans. This has a major effect on the marine ecosystem, as it poses a serious threat to marine life, both on large and small scales. Sea life can be affected by the direct toxicity of chemicals in the garbage or the leaching of chemicals from the rubbish. Various green sea movements, such as Sea Shepherd, have set up projects and campaigns in an attempt to persuade governments and industry to reduce their use of the oceans as a source of disposal. Such organizations stress that sea pollution is a global problem that attracts a high cost to both tourism and fishing. Due to the sheer size and scale of areas of our oceans, waste and debris can remain unnoticed for years. The sea acts as a collector for floating litter because it is able to centrally locate any floating objects. This is unlike land pollution, which tends to be spread out and harder to locate. The size of marine litter - ranging from large items such as fishing gear and plastic containers, through to tiny particles like plastic "dust" - means that a wide variety of marine organisms can suffer as a result of sea pollution.
2. Solutions to Garbage Pollution
The best way to solve garbage pollution is to recycle and find ways to reduce our waste. Recycling is the process of turning used products from households into new products instead of discarding them without any use. It also means using old materials, including aluminum, paper, plastic, old-growth wood, and used rubber for new purposes and turns waste into value. For example, we can sort out the paper, glass, metals, and plastics each week, reducing the need for raw materials. In addition, a well-run recycling program cost-effectively can divert a high level of recyclables from the solid waste stream. Besides, changing the way waste is managed by finding a more innovative and modern approach is also very important to reduce garbage pollution. The main aim of waste management is to treat each material in a way that ensures the protection of human health and the environment and that helps the quality of recycles. Waste management's goals are to manage, prevent, recycle, and dispose of solid waste. Ways such as landfills, incineration, and other types of waste treatment. For example, composting is a waste management and a recycling practice that turns organic waste or food waste into nutrient-rich soil. It helps to do a big favor for the environment, not only by diverting waste from the landfills but also by producing valuable soil compost. By using these methods, we can mitigate the negative impacts we have on our environment, and hopefully, we will see a reduction in pollution. The second solution is public awareness and education. The more we know, the more we will be motivated to put it into action. By educating the public and the next generation on the long-term effects of pollution. If we know what might happen, there is a chance for people to make changes to stop it. Campaigns, making advertisements, and holding mass rallies or exhibitions are all effective ways to send home the message to the people. Every one of us has a part to play in making our environment healthier and safer. The third solution is government policies and regulations. For example, the Environmental Protection Agency is the lead agency regulating public use and the disposal of waste. National governments have also enacted environmental laws and regulations and strictly enforced them, imposing severe penalties for illegal dumping. We hope that the government will take more measures to address garbage pollution by implementing stricter relevant laws, thereby curbing the generation of garbage pollution from the source. In addition, the government should strongly support investment in environmental research and development and carry out extensive technical research and development work. By technological innovation, we can improve the utilization rate of waste treatment, reduce the final landfill volume of waste, fundamentally protect and improve the environment, and ensure people's health. By technological innovation, we can improve the utilization rate of waste treatment, reduce the final landfill volume of waste, fundamentally protect and improve the environment, and ensure people's health.
2.1 Recycling and Waste Management
Recycling and waste management are some of the best solutions to reduce garbage pollution. As people consume goods and products, they also create a lot of waste. This waste can have major effects on our environment. Many of the items we use every day are made out of materials that can be recycled, such as glass, paper, and aluminium. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials so that the rainforests can be preserved. Recycling also helps to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases released by the garbage in landfills. Nowadays, more and more people are taking efforts to recycle and to make new products from recyclable materials. This can not only reduce the amount of garbage pollution, but also create new jobs for the economy. On the other hand, waste management companies can also provide efficient trash collection services for households and businesses. They offer neighborhood services, customer services, and special services including waste recycling. They collect the trash and sort out the materials that can be recycled. These materials are then taken to recycling centres. People can also rent a dumpster for rubbish removal, home improvement, or other projects. Many different types of waste can be recycled. However, the amount of waste that can be recycled depends on whether the recycling facilities can pay for the recyclable materials and also the other non-recycling recycling options. Therefore, the development of recycling technology is a top priority in order to increase the effectiveness of recycling, creating more sources of recycled materials and reducing the cost of producing new materials from raw resources like trees and metals. Every effort we do for recycling and waste management will have a meaningful impact on the environment. Not only it helps to reduce the amount of garbage pollution and the impact of global warming, but also it can create a greener and cleaner planet for the future.
2.2 Public Awareness and Education
Public awareness and education play a critical role in helping to reduce and prevent garbage pollution. It is essential to engage and build capacity among population groups. Public awareness aims to raise community consciousness about the need for waste reduction, and also encourages individual action. This is commonly done through mass media, such as television, radio, social media, and printed materials, to reach a broad audience. Campaigns can also be organized to spread messages through community events and activities. These efforts seek to make people aware of the impacts of garbage pollution as well as the benefits of waste reduction. On the other hand, environmental education provides the knowledge and skills to build a more sustainable future. In school and community programs, students can be taught about the importance of environmental conservation and how to apply it in daily life. Hands-on activities or workshops on recycling and composting may be included to instill good practices at a young age. Increased public awareness and education can lead to long-term behavior change. When individuals learn about the reasons and impacts of garbage pollution, they are more likely to make a connection between their actions and the environment. By equipping citizens with the necessary skills to make informed choices, they will feel more empowered to take positive actions. Also, as the next generation of citizens, students carry the important responsibility to conserve the environment. Through environmental education, they can be nurtured to become the new driving force in tackling garbage pollution. When young children lead their parents to adopt environmentally friendly practices, it will truly reflect the effectiveness of such education. This points to the fact that a sustainable solution to prevent garbage pollution lies in fostering a caring society of all age groups, from children to adults. Public awareness and education act as an effective means to advocate and promote individual responsibility towards the protection of the environment. By encouraging changes in behavior and community involvement, together, we can make a difference to the environment. Such a long-term approach is crucial to build a clean and beautiful homeland for the present and future generations.
2.3 Government Policies and Regulations
Due to an increased global population, there have been concerns about illegal dumping, inadequate sanitary measures, lack of regulatory policies, and ineffective enforcement of the few that are there. In national parks and other major tourist sites, garbage pollution has posed a big challenge to the responsible authorities as visitors and other caretakers keep disposing of and generating new wastes on a daily basis. Harsh penalties should be proposed by the governments for individuals and industries that violate the set environment and public health regulations. Instead of always pursuing non-violating citizens for environmental cleanliness and order, government resources should be directed into measures that ensure sustainable waste management, with the main focus being put on the offer of incentives to waste disposal companies. National and local governments should also be charged with the responsibility of ensuring that public facilities and areas are kept clean and free of any form of pollution. One of the ways that the government can improve where it has its own facilities like in the public parks is through enhanced garbage collection and segregation. Not any garbage bin in a park should be designated for any type of waste. Well-labelled bins that will encourage visitors to segregate their waste are needed. Modern, professionally managed landfill waste sites have transformed garbage pollution into a benign problem. There is no single community today that is immune to issues concerning garbage pollution. However, the situation has been greatly improved due to the passage of laws and the establishment of agencies or bodies charged with the responsibility of ensuring that such laws are implemented. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was established to introduce and enforce federal waste management policies across the country. The local government has also played a significant role in Indianapolis. Its main strategy to the reduction of garbage pollution concerns has been through the provision of integrated waste management and single stream recycling collection and processing systems. Single stream recycling leads to higher recycling rates, low waste generation, and most importantly, habitual reduction in pollution from garbage. The government should be proactive in managing garbage pollution problems in cities, parks, schools, industries, and other public areas. This can be achieved through the successful implementation of public policies and case-based health models that focus on the organization of clean-up campaigns and the removal of illegal dumping sites. Such programs should aim at linking various professions such as education, environment, public health, law enforcement, and governing bodies in a bid to promote a multidisciplinary approach to garbage pollution mitigation.
3. Case Studies on Garbage Pollution
Case studies on garbage pollution are very important to come up with the better solutions and with the better idea about the pollution. These case studies are mainly quantitative and each of the four main types of case study can be used. First of all, a global snapshot is needed if a worldwide auditing programme is to be complete. For this, a large number of countries must be involved at the same time and the results must be validated. This work has recently started and over the next few years this type of case study should yield valuable global data. The second type of case study is a local one where data is collected for a particular area. Usually agencies such as state environmental protection agencies are involved and the study takes some years to complete. For instance, a two-year study has just been finished in the city of Dhaka using this method. Thirdly, random sampling is used in case studies. This means that the extent of the pollution is measured at a large number of places and the results compared to give an overall 'pollution possibility index'. This method is good for getting nationwide data, providing that every region is sampled. The final type of case study is a 'sub unit' one where the pollution in a certain part of the region is measured. This could be on a landfill site, round a particular factory or in areas which are being developed. These types of case studies are useful when considering modernization programmes in many developing countries.
3.1 Garbage Pollution in Urban Areas
Case studies on garbage pollution are presented in section 3. These case studies highlight the specific challenges faced in different contexts, such as garbage pollution in urban areas, coastal regions, developing countries, and natural environments. In section 3.1, the focus is on garbage pollution in urban areas. Garbage pollution in urban areas is a major problem because of the density of the population and the amount of waste generated by that population. One of the primary issues is land pollution, which is a serious problem in many cities; areas of waste land are created by both the amount of waste and the practices used to manage it in urban areas. Open dumps have been used historically in urban areas, and they cause water and land pollution as well as visual blight. Such methods of waste disposal are now illegal in the UK but are common practice in some other regions of the world. Incineration is another process that has been used to manage waste in urban areas, but it is also controversial. Although modern incinerators can produce energy, many people are concerned about the release of harmful pollutants, such as dioxins, from the process. Space for waste disposal in urban areas is also becoming an increasingly pressing issue. In the UK, landfill tax has been increasing, and environmental standards are becoming more and more rigorous, so fewer and fewer new landfills are being opened, and existing ones are rapidly reaching capacity. These factors are driving the development of alternative methods of waste management, and the emphasis is on finding ways to reduce the amount of waste in the first place. Consequently, door-to-door separate waste collection is becoming more common in many UK urban areas, and recycling facilities are receiving more funding. This approach to waste management is based on the idea that prevention is better than cure, and it will produce much less land pollution in the long term. This focus on alteration to existing practices can reduce the environmental impact of waste and address many of the concerns associated with urban waste disposal. By separating waste at the point of production, it can be recycled and reused, which reduces the amount of rubbish going to landfill. This is a critical component of plans by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to increase recycling rates and reduce the amount of waste that we produce overall. If waste products in urban areas are minimized and managed in the correct way, land pollution is controllable. The government has set targets for waste management in the UK, which aim to decrease the amount of waste going to landfill and to increase the amount of waste that is either recycled or composted. By the year 2020, the UK is aiming to recycle over 50% of waste in urban areas. However, changing methods of waste management is not the only difficulty experienced in urban areas. Thanks to overcrowding, urban areas often struggle to find practical space to put larger and more modern waste treatment and disposal facilities. Although reforms in planning law and national policy now mean that it is more likely for applications for major waste management facilities to be accepted, it is still a problem. There are also concerns over whether such development will actually lead to a reduction in paradoxical land pollution, and many people have doubts as to how much the emphasis really is on a waste strategy based on reducing the volume of waste. This indicates that there is reluctance to commit to a long-term answer to land pollution in urban areas.
3.2 Garbage Pollution in Coastal Regions
Garbage pollution in coastal regions often has a detrimental effect on native wildlife. For example, in 2008, the Hawaiian Wildlife Fund organized a "marine debris monitoring project" on the island of Hawaii, one of the largest in the Hawaiian archipelago in the Central Pacific. The project involved volunteers walking and surveying subtidal and intertidal zones on five beaches on the Big Island, collecting, categorizing, and recording every piece of garbage pollution over half a meter in size. This data was then used to map the sources and relative deposition levels of land and sea-based marine debris around the island. The study showed that 22% of the total debris found had originated from sea-based sources, 64% from land-based sources, and 14% was considered to be of indeterminate origin. Although less abundant, sea-based derelict fishing gear and plastic pollution were found to be much more hazardous to wildlife than land-based garbage. Forty-seven marine debris items were observed to be directly affecting marine or terrestrial wildlife, and 29, or 62%, of these were sea-based items. In particular, longshore drift and prevailing ocean currents can give rise to a "line" of garbage pollution along high tide marks with significant "hot spots" occurring where these lines of debris become concentrated. Marine debris - and in particular plastics - is a widespread and growing issue for both wildlife and economies worldwide. Entanglement and ingestion by species such as seabirds, turtles, and marine mammals can have deadly consequences, and the potential for transfer of toxicants into the food web is caused by the breakdown of larger plastic items into small particles and the generation of "microplastics" at sea. The impact on wildlife and habitats as a result of marine debris serves to be a grim reminder of the importance of keeping our oceans, seas, and waterways free of garbage pollution. This has significant implications in terms of ensuring the preservation and protection of vulnerable and endangered wildlife and areas of natural beauty and scientific interest.
3.3 Garbage Pollution in Developing Countries
Garbage pollution is a huge problem, especially in developing countries. Where there is poverty, there is a lack of sustainable resources to utilize waste products, and heaping of garbage cannot wait until somebody comes up with a good idea to eliminate it; hence, the garbage pollution becomes more severe. In developing countries, the situation is different. It's sad to see that in many cases, the people, the garbage, the water, and the air are living together, breathing the same air and drinking the same water. The problem is much more severe in less developed countries, especially in some parts of Africa, the Near East, and South Eastern Asia. It is very difficult to know if some places are lacking drinking water because of a shortage of water or pollution of water. Unfortunately, most of the time, it is due to both of them and more of the effects are caused by pollution because of accidental and continuous effluent of garbage and industrial waste into the drinking water. This is an example of how garbage pollution is harming people's lives in many places. Settled municipal waste is one of the main sources of water pollution. Because of the lack of proper landfill sites and facilities in some unfortunate areas in developing countries, pretty much all of the waste is disposed of in the land. People just do not have enough money to build a sewage farm or invite a recycling organization and technology to treat the garbage. After people dump the garbage by the river or any sources of water, the waste most likely will be washed into the river and because of the continuous effluent, in the end, the water is contaminated. Also, the stacks of the settled waste impact the rainfall draining. Nowadays, littering is getting increasingly severe combined with the development of some big urban centers. Most of the waste is as a result of the commercial waste that people throw away carelessly, for instance, the wrappings, cans, plastics, and bottles. Due to the economic development, every year there is an increasing percentage of the rise of production and commercial waste. This, in the long run, costs a great amount of land for a piece of land that can be used for, for example, building schools or new towns. Every year, thousands of land will be wasted and the effect will result in the scarcity of land resources. However, if we do not stop garbage pollution, it can cause many different types of contamination on the water, land, or air. Rivers and lakes are often used as a disposal, but these water sources are also relied upon to support aquatic life and to provide water for people. This is also a popular topic on environmental pollution and mainly discussed by the students to enforce their knowledge about the interactions between the natural system and human activities and to develop critical thinking on the environmental problems that will lead to sustainable solutions.
3.4 Garbage Pollution in Natural Environments
Garbage pollution can cause massive damage to natural environments. Take the ocean for example. There are five massive patches of plastic in the oceans around the world, and it kills a lot of marine life. "Hundreds of thousands of sea turtles, whales and other marine mammals, and more than 1 million seabirds die each year from ocean pollution and ingestion or entanglement in marine debris," according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. And we know that 80% of the pollution in seas and oceans comes from the land. Litter, as well as larger items and garbage, can be found on virtually every beach in the world. Coastal towns and cities everywhere by the tide and gradually it will be contracted towards the land. Marine litter is not an enormous rubbish problem. It is also now becoming a big problem for the sea life. All the waste travels in the water, from rivers to the sea and is all pushed to the coast by the tide. This is how and why rubbish from the beach that is dropped there or left there by beach goers, is pushed into the sea. Over the years this environmental hazard has only got worse. Plants are struggling as their natural habitat and the area they can grow in has been constantly getting smaller because of the severe problem of rubbish the plants simply cannot grow and will die out. Also the plants that have managed to grow in such harsh conditions are being destroyed by the humans walking all over the beach. This is not only destroying the plants and preventing smaller animals from having a decent habitat it is also unstructuring the peace from the quiet, natural harmonious sounds of nature. The number of turtles swallowing plastic bags has increased. When plastic bags end up in the ocean, turtles and other animals may mistake them for a jellyfish, one of their favorite foods. When the bags are ingested, it can prevent the animal from consuming real food and lead to death by starvation. Birds often mistake small pieces of plastic for fish, and they feed the plastic to their chicks thinking it is food. Not only can the plastic block up the chick's stomach, food cannot be digested and they will die. Also when animals get stuck and have no way of getting free it results in drowning. All of this highlights an extremely important factor that man-made rubbish getting into our sea can not only kill, causing destruction, it can torture them to and lead to a slow painful death. Therefore, more needs to be done and urgently to stop marine litter. Every year, the United States is generating more than 230 million tons of "garbage," and that is only a little bit less than 5 pounds per person per day according to the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The truck below is just a really small amount of littering in the USA. And we can see it cause pollution on the beach and in the sea mostly. This is so deadly to sea life. Governments are now beginning to recognize the massive problem that is marine litter. They are putting laws in place to try and stop it at the source. Nowadays, more and more countries are working together to try and tackle marine litter. This is only thanks to novel and advanced actions that are in improvement and be in place that may change our future. The shelves under the water have been slowly but surely been the result of pile up over the years of rubbish and pollution spreading towards the seas and oceans. Oceans are easily overwhelmed by polluting effects from land, and so everyone should want to make little change to let the ocean stay refreshing and a better habitat for marine life. Essay on garbage 14 Models
Essay on garbage, Waste is the leftover pieces of anything we use in our daily lives. When we eat food, some pieces and crusts remain.
When we use fabrics to make our clothes, some pieces of fabric are left over. As for the medicine, we take it, take injections, and then throw away the empties.
Essay on garbage
But where does this waste go? Unfortunately, it is dumped in the nearest residential areas, where it is thrown into the water or on the roads.
This behavior is an improper disposal of waste and is harmful to the environment. Among the most dangerous wastes that are dumped into the water are dead animals and factory waste.
Because of the lack of awareness about people, these behaviors have increased significantly, and with the increase in the number of people on Earth, pollution has reached frightening levels.
One of the most dangerous consequences of pollution is that the Earth’s temperature has risen, causing a dangerous phenomenon called global warming.
Garbage problem essay
All countries of the world suffer from the problem of waste disposal, due to insufficient awareness of the danger of improper disposal.
This problem starts when a particular factory is located near a water source, they do not hesitate to throw the waste into the water regardless of the results.
As for the plastic waste, it is incinerated, which causes thick black smoke to rise, causing respiratory and eye diseases for residents of the areas near the burning sites.
Even medical waste is dumped on the streets and in landfills without regard to the dangerous infection it carries.
To solve this problem, scientists must intervene because they are the ones who are able to provide appropriate suggestions.
The scientist is the one who has the correct scientific vision that rids the earth of waste, and at the same time, their experiments on waste benefit humanity.
Garbage problem solution essay
The only solution to the problem of waste disposal is to dispose of it in a healthy manner that benefits the environment, and not by throwing it into water sources and agricultural lands. We must know that each type of waste has a certain healthy and safe way to dispose of it safely
But what are the proper ways to dispose of waste? Contagious hazardous waste, such as medical waste, must be buried deep underground.
As for the waste that comes out of factories, it must be disposed of by burial as well, because it spoils the crops and pollutes the water, causing the destruction of crops and bringing dangerous diseases such as cancer to humans.
Proper waste disposal essay
The best way to get rid of waste is to recycle it, which means introducing it to certain factories that recycle it, whether products of the same product or a new product.
One of the most important recycling factories are plastic recycling factories, where plastic waste is converted into new products and resold to the consumer.
There are also factories for recycling paper, where it is recycled into a new product with high economic value. Recycling allows the state to manufacture its needs in order to dispense with imports.
There are several products that may result from recycling, some of which are made of plastic and some that are made of paper.
As for plastic products, there are several types and several shapes, some of which are simple to manufacture and used for simple household purposes, and some of them are of higher quality and characterized by durability and strength, so they are used in the manufacture of important tools.
Short essay on garbage
Waste is everything that is dispensed with and thrown away from residential or industrial places. There are two types of waste, including what comes out of the house, whether it is food or utensils that were used in the kitchen, such as plastic bags or dishes made of light materials for one use.
There is heavy waste, which is left over from factories of various kinds, some of which are chemicals or plastics.
Each type of waste has a correct way to dispose of it.
There is medical waste, which is discharged from hospitals and places of treatment for patients in various specialties. Medical waste is considered a hazardous waste.
Waste disposal essay
Waste disposal may be beneficial to humans, or it may be non-beneficial. The first type is by shipping waste to designated factories after sorting it.
When we throw waste, it accumulates with each other of different types. We find plastic waste with glass and paper, and of course food and diapers with them.
But there are some people who specialize in sorting this garbage and putting each type separately. And when the sorting ends, the garbage goes to the places designated for each type. Where they are dealt with according to what is available to them. Some of them are made of plastic, and this is the most important type of recycling. There is a large amount of paper in the garbage, which goes to factories for recycling paper.
As for the metal waste, it is of good importance because it goes to factories that smelt and reform the metals.
Garbage pollution essay
The earth has become so polluted that garbage is everywhere. As a result of its dumping in the water, a large pollution occurred in the drinking water sources, which infect people with serious diseases such as kidney failure and liver disease.
Not only did people throw rubbish, but factory and ship waste were dumped a lot. Fisheries have been greatly affected by the oil spill from huge oil tankers.
And we will not forget the air pollution due to burning non-combustible waste such as plastic and hazardous medical waste.
These unhealthy methods of garbage disposal have bad effects on the environment and humans.
As for the environment, it causes environmental pollution and global warming.
As for human health, it suffers from serious diseases such as diseases that target the lung and respiratory system, and diseases that affect the eyes and skin.
Waste disposal solutions essay
Garbage was once a heavy burden on nations, because it could not be disposed of easily. But these days it has become a source of income for the state because of its use in recycling. When waste is recycled, it fills the market need and prevents import from abroad.
And there are major countries like China that ship garbage from other countries, in order to recycle and sell it again.
As for countries that do not have recycling plants, they dispose of waste by burning it or giving it to other countries.
The problem that stands in the way of most countries and prevents them from recycling and benefiting from their garbage is the huge cost of building recycling plants. Where the factory takes several steps until it converts the waste into a new product that conforms to the specifications.
Short essay on garbage problem
Waste has become an energy source as countries burn waste to generate energy. There are other types of waste that are impossible to use again.
Among these wastes are medical waste, which includes medicine bottles, cotton and syringes, due to the transmission of infection from one sick person to another healthy person. Therefore, the only solution to get rid of them is to bury them underground.
The same situation is for dead animals, so they must be buried, not burned, in order to ensure that they are disposed of in a proper manner, because if they are burned, they will pollute the air, which will infect humans. And if it is thrown into water sources, it pollutes the water and poisons people and crops.
For these reasons, all countries of the world strive to save the earth from the negative disposal of garbage.
One of the most important efforts undertaken by these countries is to try to educate viewers about the seriousness of the situation. Education is through television and social media. And by going to schools and educating children.
Garbage disposal essay
The global trend is towards hygienic garbage disposal. This interest is due to what happened to the Earth during the past few years. As pollution increased by a large percentage, the ozone layer was damaged.
One of the most important risks faced by all countries is the problem of global warming, which threatens the Earth with increasing temperatures.
As the Earth warms, the ice melts, causing floods and tsunamis that could inundate several cities. Therefore, burning of waste must be prevented in all countries, and those who incinerate it must be punished with severe penalties that frighten him and frighten others. Burning causes a great deal of pollution to the air, which affects children and young adults.
One of the most important diseases that have spread due to pollution is asthma, which affects young and old, as it causes bouts of shortness of breath and has no treatment except for bronchial expansion sprays. There are new diseases that have emerged with the increase in pollution, such as cancer of all kinds.
