ప్రస్తుతం మంచి కంటెంట్ ఉంటె చాలు ఆడియన్స్ చిన్న సినిమాలను సైతం ఆదరిస్తున్నారు. ఆ విధంగా పలు చిన్న సినిమాలు మంచి కాన్సెప్ట్స్ తో రిలీజ్ అయి ఆడియన్స్ ని ఆకట్టుకుంటున్నాయి. ఆ విధంగానే మొదటి నుండి అందరిలో మంచి అంచనాలు ఏర్పరిచిన మూవీ ఓ కల ప్రస్తుతం ప్రముఖ ఓటిటి మాధ్యమం డిస్నీ హాట్ స్టార్ లో స్ట్రీమ్ అవుతోంది. గౌరీష్ యేలేటి, రోష్ని సహోటా హీరో హీరోయిన్స్ గా తెరకెక్కిన ఈ సినిమా యొక్క ఓటిటి సమీక్ష ఇప్పుడు చూద్దాం.

హారిక (రోషిని సహూటా) ఒక ఎంబీఏ మార్కెటింగ్ గ్రాడ్యుయేట్. పలువురు యువతకు ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు కల్పించేందుకు ఆమె ఒక సరికొత్త స్టార్టప్ కంపెనీ ని ప్రారంభిస్తుంది. అయితే కొన్ని కారణాల వలన తన కంపెనీ దివాళా తీయడంతో ఆమె ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవాలని భావిస్తుంది. అయితే ఆమె ఆత్మహత్యకు ప్రయత్నించే సమయంలో హర్ష (గౌరీష్ యేలేటి) అనే ఒక యువకుడు ఆమె జీవితంలోకి ప్రవేశించి ఆమె మనసుని ఆ ఆలోచన నుండి తప్పిస్తాడు. మరి అంత సడన్ గా హారిక జీవితంలోకి వచ్చిన హర్ష ఎవరు, ఆమెను ఏ విధంగా అతడు ఆత్మహత్య నుండి తప్పిస్తాడు, తరువాత వారిద్దరి మధ్య ఏమి జరిగింది అనేది మిగతా కథ.

ప్లస్ పాయింట్స్ :

ఓ కల సినిమా ప్రధానంలో సంభాషణల నేపథ్యంలో సాగుతుంది. ఇక కొత్త నటీనటులు అయినప్పటికీ కూడా ఎక్కువగా ఉన్న స్క్రీన్ స్పేస్ ని బాగా వాడుకుని హీరో హీరోయిన్స్ ఇద్దరూ కూడా ఎంతో చక్కగా తమ తమ పాత్రల్లో ఒదిగిపోయి పెర్ఫార్మ్ చేసారు. బాలీవుడ్ టివి నటి అయిన రోషిని సహూటా ఈ మూవీ ద్వారా టాలీవుడ్ కి సూపర్ ఎంట్రీ ని ఇచ్చారు అనే చెప్పాలి. ఆమె అందం, అభినయంతో పాటు ప్రత్యేకంగా సీన్ కి తగిన విధంగా ఆమె పెర్ఫార్మన్స్, డైలాగ్ డెలివరీ వంటివి ఎంతో బాగున్నాయి. దీని అనంతరం నటిగా ఆమెకు తెలుగులో మంచి అవకాశాలు వచ్చే ఛాన్స్ ఉంది. ఇక హీరోగా నటించిన గౌరీష్ యేలేటి కూడా తన పాత్రకు పూర్తి న్యాయం చేసారు. ఎక్కడా కూడా ఓవర్ బోర్డు కాకుండా తన పాత్ర యొక్క పరిధి మేరకు అలరించారు. నేటి యువతకు ఉపయోగపడే మంచి సోషల్ మెసేజ్ ని దర్శకుడు దీపక్ కొలిపాక ఇందులో అందించారు. ఇక సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో ఆ మెసేజ్ తాలూకు సెన్సిటివ్ సీన్స్ ని ఎంతో చక్కగా దర్శకుడు హ్యాండిల్ చేసారు. ప్రాచీ థాకర్, దేవి ప్రసాద్ కూడా తమ తమ పాత్రల్లో చక్కగా నటించారు.

మైనస్ పాయింట్స్ :

అయితే ప్రధాన పాత్రల మధ్య సాగే సంభాషణల నేపథ్యంలో ఈ సినిమా నడవడంతో అందరు ఆడియన్స్ కి ఇది రుచించకపోవచ్చు. కేవలం కొన్ని సెక్షన్స్ ఆఫ్ ఆడియన్స్ కి మాత్రమే ఈ విధంగా సాగే కథనం నచ్చుతుంది, అలానే ఇతరులకు అది చాలా వరకు బోరింగ్ గా కూడా అనిపిస్తుంది. ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ సన్నివేశాలు కూడా బోరింగ్ గా మరియు సాగతీతగా అనిపిస్తాయి. అలానే కొన్ని అనవసరమైన కామెడీ సీన్స్ కూడా సినిమాకి ఇబ్బంది కలిగిస్తాయి. మొదటి గంట మరింత ఇంట్రెస్టింగ్ గా ఉండేలా స్క్రిప్ట్ రాసుకుని ఉంటె బాగుండేది. అయితే దర్శకుడు ఆడియన్స్ కి ఏమి చెప్పాలి అనుకున్నది బాగున్నప్పటికీ ప్రధాన పాత్రల మధ్య మరింత ఆకట్టుకునే సన్నివేశాలు రాసుకుని ఉంటె తప్పకుండా సినిమా మరింత అద్భుతంగా ఉండేది. సినిమా రన్ టైం కూడా కొంత తగ్గించి ఉంటె బాగుండేది.

సాంకేతిక వర్గం :

మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్టర్ నీలేష్ మండలపు సంగీతం బాగానే ఉంది. అఖిల్ వల్లూరి ఫోటోగ్రఫి బాగుంది, పలు సీన్స్ విజువల్ గా ఎంతో బాగున్నాయి. నిర్మాణ విలువలు బాగున్నాయి కానీ ఎడిటింగ్ విభాగం వారు మాత్రం రన్ టైం విషయంలో కొంత ట్రిమ్ చేసి ఉంటె బాగుండేది. ఇక దర్శకుడు దీపక్ కొలిపాక గురించి చెప్పాలి అంటే, మొత్తంగా ఆయన పర్వాలేదనిపించారు. అయితే నేటి సమాజానికి ఉపయోగపడే మంచి పాయింట్ ని ఎంచుకున్న ఆయనకు ముందుగా ప్రత్యేక అభినందనలు అందించాలి. సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో మంచి ట్విస్ట్ లు ఉన్నప్పటికీ కూడా ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ ని మరింత ఆసక్తికరంగా తెరకెక్కించి ఉంటె బాగుండేదనిపిస్తుంది. అయినప్పటికీ మంచి మెసేజ్ అయితే అందించారు.

మొత్తంగా ఓ కల మూవీ మెల్లగా సాగే సోషల్ మెసేజ్ కలిగిన డ్రామా మూవీ. తొలి సినిమా అయినప్పటికీ కూడా గౌరీష్, రోషిని ఇద్దరూ కూడా తమ పాత్రల్లో బాగా ఒదిగిపోయి నటించారు. అలానే దర్శకుడు కొన్ని కీలక సీన్స్ ని ఎంతో బాగా హ్యాండిల్ చేసారు. అయితే పైన చెప్పిన విధంగా కథనాన్ని ముందుకు నడిపే విధానం మాత్రం మెల్లగా ఉంటుంది.

O Kala Movie Review: కాన్సెప్ట్ ఓరియంటెడ్ మూవీస్ కు ఓటీటీ కరెక్ట్ ప్లాట్ ఫామ్. అలాంటి ఓ చక్కని కాన్సెప్ట్ తో రూపుదిద్దుకున్న చిత్రం ‘ఓ కల’. ఈ మూవీ 13వ తేదీ నుండి డిస్నీ ప్లస్ హాట్ స్టార్ లో స్ట్రీమింగ్ అవుతోంది. గౌరీష్ యేలేటి, రోష్ని సహోట, ప్రాచి టక్కర్ ప్రధాన పాత్రలు పోషించిన ఈ సినిమాను దీపక్ కొలిపాక దర్శకత్వంలో నవ్య మహేశ్, రంజిత్ కుమార్ కొడాలి నిర్మించారు.

ఎం.బి.ఎ. చేసిన హారిక (రోష్ని)కు ఉద్యోగం చేయడం కంటే… తన ప్రతిభను ఉపయోగించి సొంత కంపెనీ పెట్టి ఓ వంద మందికి ఉపాధి కల్పించాలనే కోరిక. అందుకు తండ్రి (దేవి ప్రసాద్) సైతం సహకరిస్తాడు. స్నేహితుడు శరణ్ తో కలిసి బిజినెస్ లోకి దిగిన హారిక… అతన్ని నమ్మి మోసపోతుంది. నష్టాల్లో మునిగిపోయిన కంపెనీని వేరే వాళ్ళకు అమ్మేసి, డిప్రషన్ తో సూసైడ్ చేసుకోవాలని అనుకుంటుంది. ఆ సమయంలో ఆమె జీవితంలోకి హర్ష (గౌరీష్ యేలేటి) అడుగు పెడతాడు. లైఫ్ మీద హోప్ కోల్పోయిన హారికలో హర్ష ఎలా ఆశలు రేకెత్తించాడు? ఆమెను మళ్ళీ ఎలా సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ ఎంటర్ పెన్యూర్ గా మలిచాడు? హర్ష గతం ఏమిటీ? అనేదే ఈ చిత్రం.

ఓ చిన్న పాయింట్ ను తీసుకుని దర్శకుడు దీపక్ కొలిపాక చక్కని దృశ్య కావ్యంగా దీన్ని మలిచాడు. ఇవాళ సమాజంలో పది శాతం మంది డిప్రషన్ కు లోనవుతున్నారు. సూసైడ్  చేసుకుంటున్న వారిలో తొంభై శాతం మంది ఆ డిప్రషన్ కారణంగానే అందుకు పాల్పడుతున్నారు. వాళ్ళలో చిన్న పాటి ఆశను సకాలంలో కల్గిస్తే… వాళ్ళకో కొత్త జీవితాన్ని ప్రసాదించినట్టు అవుతుంది. అలాంటి ప్రయత్నం సమాజంలో కొంత మేర జరుగుతోంది. కానీ అది మరింతగా జరగాలన్నదే ఈ సినిమా ద్వారా దర్శకుడు దీపక్ చెప్పాలనుకున్నాడు. దానికి తగ్గట్టు గా సింపుల్ గా ఓ స్టోరీని రాసుకున్నాడు. అన్ని వర్గాలను ఆకట్టుకోవాలనే అత్యాశకు పోకుండా… తను రాసుకున్న కథకు తగిన న్యాయం చేస్తూ, మంచి నటీనటులను ఎంపిక చేసుకుని, ఈ క్యూట్ మూవీని తెరకెక్కించాడు.

ఇందులో ప్రధానంగా కనిపించేవి రెండే పాత్రలు. గౌరీశ్ యేలేటీ అండ్ రోష్ని. ఇద్దరూ చక్కగా నటించారు. మరీ ముఖ్యంగా… ఇప్పటికే ఉత్తరాదిన నటిగా గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్న రేష్ని చాలా బాగా తన పాత్రను పోట్రేట్ చేసింది. ప్రత్యూష పాత్రకు ప్రాచీ టక్కర్ తగిన న్యాయం చేసింది. అయితే రోష్ని పాత్రను ఎలివేట్ చేసే క్రమంలో ప్రాచీ పాత్ర పట్ల దర్శకుడు కాస్తంత శీతకన్ను వేశాడనిపిస్తుంది. ఇతర ప్రధాన పాత్రలను దేవి ప్రసాద్, వైవా రాఘవ, శక్తి, రవితేజ, కృష్ణకుమారి శ్రీపతి పోషించారు. ఫిల్మ్ డైరెక్టర్ గా అలీ చేసిన పాత్ర పెద్దంత మెప్పించలేదు. ఈ సినిమాకు మెయిన్ ఎస్సెట్ అఖిల్ వల్లూరి సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ, నీలేష్ మండలపు సంగీతం. కశ్మీర్ అందాలను అఖిల్ తన కెమెరాలో చక్కగా బంధించాడు. నేపథ్య గీతాలు వినసొంపుగా ఉన్నాయి. వీటిని కృష్ణ చైతన్య, రాకేందు మౌళి రాశారు. సినిమా అనేది ప్రధానంగా వినోదసాధనమే అయినా దాని ద్వారా సమాజ హితానికి పాటు పడటం ఉత్తమ లక్షణం. అది తమకుందని ‘ఓ కల’ ద్వారా దర్శక నిర్మాతలు చాటి చెప్పారు. ఎటువంటి అంచనాలు పెట్టుకోకుండా… ఓటీటీలోని ఈ సినిమాను చూస్తే… మనసుకు హాయిగా ఉంటుంది. లోపల ఎక్కడైనా డిప్రషన్ ఉంటే… తొలగిపోతుంది!

నూతన తారలు, దర్శక - నిర్మాతలు చేసే సినిమాలకు ఓటీటీ మాధ్యమాలు చక్కని వేదికగా నిలుస్తున్నాయి. కంటెంట్ బావుంటే స్టార్లు లేకపోయినా ప్రేక్షకుల నుంచి చక్కటి ఆదరణ లభిస్తోంది. దాంతో కంటెంట్ బేస్డ్ లో బడ్జెట్ సినిమాలు ఓటీటీ బాట పడుతున్నాయి. 'ఓ కల' (O Kala Movie) కూడా ఆ కోవలో చిత్రమే. డిస్నీ పలు హాట్ స్టార్ (Disney Plus Hotstar) ఓటీటీలో స్ట్రీమింగ్ అవుతోంది. 

కథ (O Kala Movie Story) : ఎంబీఏ చేసిన హారిక వర్మ (రోషిణి)కి మంచి కంపెనీలో ఉద్యోగం వస్తుంది. ఆ ఆఫర్ రిజెక్ట్ చేసి మరీ సొంతంగా బిజినెస్ పెడుతుంది. ఆమె నిర్ణయాన్ని కన్న తల్లితో సహా బంధువులు అందరూ వ్యతిరేకించినా తండ్రి (దేవి ప్రసాద్) మద్దతు ఇస్తాడు. తొలుత లాభాలు వస్తాయి. అయితే, వ్యాపార భాగస్వామి మోసం చేయడంతో కంపెనీ నష్టాల్లో కూరుకుపోతుంది. దాంతో హారిక ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవాలనుకుంటుంది. ఆ సమయంలో హర్ష (గౌరీశ్ యేలేటి) పరిచయం అవుతాడు. ఆత్మహత్య నిర్ణయాన్ని వెనక్కి తీసుకోవడమే కాదు, హర్షతో కలిసి కశ్మీర్ వెళుతుంది. 

ఫేమస్ ఫోటోగ్రాఫర్ అయిన హర్ష, తనను సహాయ దర్శకుడిగా హారికకు ఎందుకు పరిచయం చేసుకున్నాడు? హారిక జీవితంలో హర్ష తీసుకొచ్చిన మార్పులు ఏమిటి? హర్ష ప్రేయసి ప్రత్యూష (ప్రాచీ ఠక్కర్), స్నేహితుడు తరుణ్ ('వైవా' రాఘవ్) పాత్రలు ఏమిటి? అనేది సినిమా చూసి తెలుసుకోవాలి.

విశ్లేషణ (O Kala Review Telugu) : 'ఓ కల'లో మెప్పించే అంశం ఏమిటంటే... కొత్త దర్శకుడు దీపక్ కొలిపాక చెప్పాలనుకున్న అంశాన్ని సూటిగా చెప్పాడు. నేరుగా కథలోకి వెళ్ళిపోయాడు. ఆ తర్వాత కూడా కథలో భాగంగా కామెడీ వచ్చింది. అంతే తప్ప సెపరేట్ ట్రాక్స్ ఏమీ రాయలేదు. ప్రేమ సన్నివేశాలను సైతం సెన్సిబిల్ గా డీల్ చేశాడు.

''ఇవాళ రాత్రి మనం కళ్ళు మూసుకొని మళ్ళీ పొద్దున్న కళ్ళు తెరిస్తేనే కదా... మనం బతికి ఉన్నట్టు! లేకపోతే చచ్చి పోయినట్టే కదా! మనం కంట్రోల్ చేయలేని జీవితాన్ని, మన కంట్రోల్ లోకి తీసుకోవద్దు'' - ఇదీ 'ఓ కల'లో దర్శకుడు ఇచ్చిన సందేశం. సినిమా స్టోరీ లైన్ కూడా ఇదే! సినిమాలో బ్యూటీ ఏంటంటే... ఎక్కడా క్లాస్ పీకినట్టు ఉండదు. 

కథలో కొత్తదనం లేదు. అలీ కామెడీ ట్రాక్ బాలేదు. కథా నేపథ్యం, సన్నివేశాలు సైతం ఆహా ఓహో అనేలా లేవు. అమ్మాయి సక్సెస్ సెలబ్రేట్ చేయడానికి పార్టీల కోసం లక్షలు ఖర్చు చేసే తండ్రి దగ్గర కనీసం కోట్లు లేవా? వంటి లాజిక్స్ ఇక్కడ అనవసరం. సినిమాలో కొన్ని లోపాలు ఉన్నాయి. అయితే... డిప్రెషన్ గురించి దర్శకుడు దీపక్ డిస్కస్ చేసిన తీరు బావుంది. హీరోయిన్ రోషిణి క్యారెక్టరైజేషన్ సైతం బావుంది. ఆత్మహత్య ఒక్కటే పరిష్కారం కాదని, అమ్మాయిలు ధైర్యంగా నిలబడాలని చెప్పారు. రొమాన్స్ కంటే డ్రామా మీద ఎక్కువ కాన్సంట్రేట్ చేశారు. సంభాషణలు అర్థవంతంగా ఉన్నాయి. సాంగ్స్ ఓకే. ప్రొడక్షన్ వేల్యూస్ డీసెంట్ గా ఉన్నాయి. కథకు ఎంత అవసరమో... అంతే ఖర్చు చేశారు. సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ బాగుంది. ఇటువంటి సినిమాల్లో రెండు మూడు సూపర్ హిట్ సాంగ్స్ పడితే బావుండేది.

నటీనటులు ఎలా చేశారు? : గౌరీశ్ యేలేటి, రోషిణి... హీరో హీరోయిన్లకు ఇది తొలి సినిమా. అయితే, చూస్తున్నంత సేపు కొత్తవాళ్ళు చేసినట్లు కనిపించలేదు. తమ పాత్రలకు న్యాయం చేశారు. హీరో ప్రేయసిగా, న్యూ ఏజ్ అమ్మాయి పాత్రలో ప్రాచీ ఠక్కర్ పర్వాలేదు. 'వైవా' రాఘవ్ కామెడీ టైమింగ్ కొన్ని సన్నివేశాల్లో చిరునవ్వు తెప్పించింది. తండ్రి పాత్రలో దేవి ప్రసాద్ నటన హుందాగా ఉంది. మిగతా నటీనటులు పర్వాలేదు.

చివరగా చెప్పేది ఏంటంటే? : 'ఓ కల' కథలో మలుపులు లేవు. భావోద్వేగాలు భారీ స్థాయిలో లేవు. అయితే, అర్థవంతమైన సంభాషణలతో పాటు చక్కటి దర్శకత్వం సినిమాను చూడబుల్ గా చేశాయి. ఒక్కసారి చూడటం మొదలు పెడితే అలా అలా ముందుకు వెళతాం. చక్కటి సందేశం ఇస్తుందీ సినిమా. ఎటువంటి అంచనాలు పెట్టుకోకుండా చూస్తే... సర్‌ప్రైజ్ చేస్తుంది. టైమ్‌పాస్ కోసం వీకెండ్ ఓ లుక్ వేయవచ్చు.

Deepak Kolipaka’s directorial debut, “O Kala,” featuring newcomers Gourish Yeleti and Roshni Sahota in the lead roles, is now available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. Being a small-budget film, let’s take a closer look and see how it fares.

Story: The movie revolves around Harika (played by Roshhni Sahota), an MBA marketing graduate who starts an advertising company with the aim of providing employment opportunities to others. However, the company runs into financial troubles, and Harika reaches a point of despair where she decides to end her life. It is at this critical juncture that she meets Harsha (played by Gourish Yeleti), a stranger who unexpectedly alters the course of her life. The rest of the film delves into the identity of Harsha and the turn of events that take place as a result of his intervention.

Plus Points: The success of O Kala heavily relied on the performances of the lead actors, and Roshni Sahota and Gourish Yeleti didn’t disappoint. Despite being their debut movie, both actors delivered a commendable performance that elevated the film’s impact.

Roshni Sahota, a well-known Hindi TV actress, stunned the Telugu audience with her expressive portrayal of Harika. Although the director conveyed the intended message, the first hour of the film could have been better executed. More impactful scenes between the lead characters could have elevated the film, and a shorter runtime would have made it more concise.

Roshni and Gourish make impressive debuts and the director manages to handle some aspects of the film well. • Trailer for 'O Kala' unveiled ahead of OTT streaming

'O Kala' is the title of an upcoming film to be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar from April 13. Starring Gourish Yeleti (in the role of an aspiring actor), Roshni Sahota (the Hindi TV actress who was seen in the web series 'State of Siege: 26/11'), and Prachi Thacker in lead roles, the rom-com comes with dramatic elements. Deepak Kolipaka has wieled the megaphone.

On Wednesday, its trailer was released at the hands of Dil Raju . Producers Navya Mahesh M and Ranjith Kumar Kodali thanked the supremo of Sri Venkateswara Creations for doing the honours.

Speaking on the occasion, writer-director Deepak thanked his producers for standing as the pillars of support. He added that SS Rajamouli, the celebrated filmmaker, recently unveiled the film's first look. "His support boosted our morale," the young filmmaker added.

Composed by Neelesh Mandalapu, the film has cinematography done by Akhil Valluri. Satya Giduturi is its Editor. Devi Prasad, Ali and others are part of the cast.

‘O Kala’ first look release on the hands of director Rajamouli

Lakshmi Navya Mothuru, Ranjit Kumar Kodali and Aditya Reddy are producing the movie ‘O Kala’ under the banner of Eternity Entertainment and Aham Azmi Films with Gaurish Yeleti, Roshini and Prachi Thakkar as the heroines under the direction of Deepak Kolipaka. The first look of the film was unveiled at a function held at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on Saturday.

The Director Rajamouli released this first look. After the release of First Look, Rajamouli said, “The first look of ‘O Kala’ movie is very attractive. This is where the film comes in handy. I think director Deepak Kolipaka is shooting this film wonderfully. Cinema is everyone’s dream. All of you have fulfilled that dream with this film. Many more are living with this dream.

The dream of all such people will come true if they work hard. Congratulations to the cast, technicians and producers who worked on this film. ” Also, the entire film unit along with ‘Hit’ film director Shailesh Kolanu participated in the event. Director Deepak Kolipaka speaking on this occasion, said, “We are really happy to release First Look at the hands of our director Rajamouli garu, who has brought world-class recognition to Telugu cinema.

His blessings have given us so much strength. He wants to always be an inspiration to directors like this. When it comes to cinema.. My thanks to the producers for giving me the opportunity to tell a good story to the Telugu audience. Their encouragement is unforgettable. The hero heroines, the other actors, and the technicians are all so cooperative. With all the commercial elements.. Kaalarathri Review: చెంబ‌న్ వినోద్ జోస్‌, బాబురాజ్ ప్ర‌ధాన పాత్ర‌ల్లో న‌టించిన కాళరాత్రి మూవీ ఇటీవ‌ల ఆహా ఓటీటీలో రిలీజైంది. స‌ర్వైవ‌ల్ థ్రిల్ల‌ర్‌గా రూపొందిన ఈ సినిమాకు మ‌ర్ఫీ డేవ‌సీ ద‌ర్శ‌క‌త్వం వ‌హించాడు. మ‌ల‌యాళం మూవీ న‌ల్ల నిళ‌వుల రాత్రి సినిమాకు డ‌బ్బింగ్ వెర్ష‌న్‌గా రిలీజైన ఈ సినిమా ఆడియెన్స్‌కు థ్రిల్లింగ్‌ను పంచిందా? లేదా? అంటే?

ఆ ఆప‌రిచితుల నుంచి కురియ‌న్‌, ఇరుంబ‌న్‌తో పాటు మిగిలిన వాళ్లు ఎలా బ‌య‌ట‌ప‌డ్డారు? ఆ స్నేహితుల‌ను చంప‌డానికి వ‌చ్చిన అగంత‌కులు ఎవ‌రు? కురియ‌న్ అండ్ గ్యాంగ్‌పై ఆ అప‌రిచితులు ప‌గ‌ను పెంచుకోవ‌డానికి కార‌ణం ఏమిట‌న్న‌దే కాళ‌రాత్రి మూవీ క‌థ‌.

హాలీవుడ్‌లో పాపుల‌ర్‌...

హాలీవుడ్‌లో స‌ర్వైవ‌ల్ థ్రిల్ల‌ర్ చాలా పాపుల‌ర్ జాన‌ర్‌. ట్రిప్ కోసం కొంద‌రు స్నేహితులు అడ‌విలో అడుగుపెట్ట‌డం, వారిని చంప‌డానికి ఓ సీరియ‌ల్ కిల్ల‌ర్‌ వెంటాడ‌టం అనే కాన్సెప్ట్‌తో వారానికో సినిమా వ‌స్తూనే ఉంటుంది. ఈ స‌ర్వైవ‌ల్ మూవీస్ క‌థ చాలా వ‌ర‌కు ఒకేలా ఉంటుంది.

కానీ కిల్ల‌ర్ నుంచి హీరోహీరోయిన్లు ఎలా త‌ప్పించుకుంటార‌న్న‌ది ఎంత గ్రిప్పింగ్‌గా రాసుకుంటే క‌థ అంత ర‌క్తి క‌డుతుంది. మైండ్‌బ్లోయింగ్ ట్విస్ట్‌ లు, ట‌ర్న్‌ల‌తో ఇలా కూడా జ‌రుగుతుందా అని ఆడియెన్ అనుకునేలా స‌ర్‌ప్రైజ్ చేయాలి. అప్పుడే ఈ స‌ర్వైవ‌ల్ మూవీస్ ఆక‌ట్టుకుంటాయి.

ఎన్నో హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాల నుంచి ఇన్‌స్పైర్ అయ్యి డైరెక్ట‌ర్ మ‌ర్ఫీ డేవ‌సీ కాళ‌రాత్రి మూవీని తెర‌కెక్కించాడు. స్టోరీ, స్క్రీన్‌ప్లే విష‌యంలో పూర్తిగా హాలీవుడ్ ఫార్మెట్‌ను ఫాలో అయ్యాడు. బిజినెస్ ట్రిప్ నిమిత్తంఅడ‌వి మ‌ధ్య‌లో ఉన్న పాత‌కాలం నాటి బంగ‌ళాలో అడుగుపెట్టిన కొంద‌రు స్నేహితులు త‌మ ప్రాణాలు నిలుపుకోవ‌డానికి ఎలాంటి పోరాటం చేశార‌న్న‌దే ఈ మూవీ క‌థ‌.

O Kala OTT release date: When and where to watch Gourish Yeleti, Roshni Sahota’s film

Written and directed by Deepak Kolipaka, the romance drama is set for a direct-to-OTT release on this leading platform

Disney+ Hotstar is gradually cementing its authority among Telugu audiences with a slew of releases this year. While it grabbed hold of the Sankranthi biggie Veera Simha Reddy, it has hogged the limelight for a number of shows and post-theatrical releases like Jhansi Season 2, Sadha Nannu Nadipe, Sridevi Shoban Babu, Anger Tales, to name a few.

The streaming giant has now acquired another Telugu film for a direct-to-OTT release. The platform’s next release is O Kala, a romance drama starring Gourish Yeleti, Roshni Sahota and Prachi Thacker in the lead roles. The film is written and directed by Deepak Kolipaka. Navya Mahesh M, Aditya Reddy and Ranjith Kumar Kodali bankrolled the film under Eternity Entertainment and Aham Asmi Films.

The makers, who released the promos and the lyrical videos of the film a few months ago, have sealed the deal for a direct premiere on Disney+ Hotstar for a fancy price. The film will be landing on the platform on April 13. The trailer of the drama was unveiled today in the presence of noted producer Dil Raju.

The trailer showcases the highs and lows in the relationship of a young couple. The youngster is chasing a career in films and the girl believes that he’s leading a rosy life sans hassles. A filmmaker troubles the aspirant actor and makes him do odd jobs on sets while the latter’s relationship progresses smoothly. However, a misunderstanding forces them to part ways. Is there a happy ending in store?

Raghavendra, Ali play important roles in O Kala. Neelesh Mandalapu scores the music for the film which has cinematography by Akhil Valluri. Satya Giduturi is the editor. Chandrakiran is the choreographer while Krishna Chaitanya, Rakendu Mouli and Nikhat Khan are the lyricists. Sistla VMK is the production designer.

Telugu film 'O Kala' is all set to make its digital debut on Disney+ Hotstar on April 13.

Disney+ Hotstar is solidifying its position among South Indian viewers by releasing several Telugu movies this year. Although it acquired the major Sankranthi release Veera Simha Reddy , it has gained more attention for a range of TV shows and post-theatrical releases, including Jhansi Season 2 , Sadha Nannu Nadipe , Sridevi Shoban Babu , and Anger Tales , among others.

Now, the large streaming service has obtained the rights to distribute another Telugu movie exclusively online. Their upcoming release is a romantic drama called O Kala , featuring Gourish Yeleti, Roshni Sahota, and Prachi Thacker in prominent roles. The movie was written and directed by Deepak Kolipaka and produced by Navya Mahesh M, Aditya Reddy, and Ranjith Kumar Kodali under the banners of Eternity Entertainment and Aham Asmi Films.

The producers of the film released promotional materials such as previews and music videos a few months ago. Recently, they finalised an agreement to exclusively premiere the film directly on Disney+ Hotstar for a high price, and is set to release it on the platform on April 13. On Wednesday, the movie's trailer was launched in the presence of notable producer Dil Raju.

The preview depicts the ups and downs in the romantic relationship of a young couple. The guy is pursuing a career in the film industry, and his girlfriend believes that he's living a trouble-free life. However, a filmmaker creates difficulties for the aspiring actor by assigning him menial tasks on set, while his relationship with his girlfriend remains harmonious. Eventually, a misunderstanding arises, causing them to break up. Will there be a happy resolution to their story?

Actors Raghavendra and Ali have significant parts in the film O Kala . Neelesh Mandalapu is responsible for the movie's music score, and Akhil Valluri serves as the cinematographer. Satya Giduturi handles the editing, while Chandrakiran is the choreographer. Krishna Chaitanya, Rakendu Mouli, and Nikhat Khan are the lyricists. Sistla VMK is responsible for the film's production design.

ప్రయోగాత్మక పాత్రలతో విక్రమ్‌.. సామాజిక సమస్యల ఇతివృత్తంగా సాగే కథాంశాలతో దర్శకుడు పా.రంజిత్‌ అలరిస్తుంటారు. ఇప్పుడీ ఇద్దరి కాంబో నుంచి వచ్చిన కొత్త చిత్రం ‘తంగలాన్‌’. ప్రచార చిత్రాల్లో చూపించిన ‘తంగలాన్‌’ ప్రపంచం.. ఆ పాత్ర కోసం విక్రమ్‌ తనని తను మార్చుకున్న తీరు.. అన్నీ ప్రేక్షకుల్లో అంచనాలు పెంచేలా చేశాయి. మరి ఈ ‘తంగలాన్‌’ కథేంటి? Thangalaan Story (కథేంటంటే) : 1850ల్లో ఆంగ్లేయుల పాలనా కాలంలో జరిగే కథ ఇది. కర్ణాటక సరిహద్దున ఉన్న వేపూరు గ్రామంలోని ఓ గిరిజన తెగకు చెందిన నాయకుడు తంగలాన్‌ (విక్రమ్‌). అతని భార్య గంగమ్మ (పార్వతి తిరువొత్తు). వీళ్లకు ఐదుగురు పిల్లలు. ఊళ్లో తమకున్న కొద్దిపాటి భూమిని సాగు చేసుకుంటూ సంతోషంగా జీవితాన్ని సాగిస్తుంటారు. అయితే వాళ్లు పండించిన పంటను ఓసారి కొందరు గుర్తు తెలియని వ్యక్తులు తగలబెడతారు. అదే సమయంలో పన్ను కట్టలేదన్న సాకుతో తంగలాన్‌ భూమిని ఊరి జమిందారు స్వాధీనం చేసుకుంటాడు. సరిగ్గా అప్పుడే తెల్లదొర క్లెమెంట్‌ (డేనియల్‌) వేపూరుకు వస్తాడు. ఆ ఊరికి సమీపంలోని అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో ఉన్న బంగారాన్ని వెలికి తీయడానికి తనతో వస్తే పెద్ద మొత్తంలో కూలీ ఇవ్వడంతో పాటు బంగారంలో వాటా ఇస్తానని ఆశ చూపుతాడు. అయితే ఆ అడవిలో బంగారాన్ని నాగజాతికి చెందిన మాంత్రికురాలు ఆరతి (మాళవిక మోహనన్‌) తన అతీంద్రియ శక్తులతో రక్షిస్తున్నట్లు తంగలాన్‌కు కలలో కనిపిస్తుంటుంది. అంతేకాదు తన తాతను ఆరతి వెంటాడినట్లు.. ఆమెను అతను చంపినట్లు తరచూ కలలొస్తుంటాయి. (Thangalaan review telugu) మరి నిజంగా ఆరతి ఉందా? ఆమె ఆ ప్రాంతంలోని బంగారాన్ని రక్షిస్తోందా? బంగారాన్ని వెలికి తీసేందుకు బ్రిటిషర్లతో కలిసి అడవిలోకి వెళ్లిన తంగలాన్‌కు.. అతని బృందానికి ఎలాంటి సవాళ్లు ఎదురయ్యాయి? ఈ ప్రయాణంలో తంగలాన్‌ ఏం తెలుసుకున్నాడు? అన్నది తెలియాలంటే సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే!

Thangalaan story analysis (ఎలా సాగిందంటే): ఇది పైకి బంగారం అన్వేషణ నేపథ్యంలో సాగే కథాంశంగానే కనిపించినా.. అంతర్లీనంగా ఓ అణగారిన వర్గం తన జాతి మనుగడ కోసం.. స్వేచ్ఛా, స్వాతంత్య్రాల కోసం చేసిన పోరాటాన్ని చూపిస్తుంది. వర్ణ వివక్షపై ఎక్కు పెట్టిన అస్త్రంలా దర్శనమిస్తుంది. ఈ కథను చెప్పడానికి దర్శకుడు రంజిత్‌ సృష్టించుకున్న ప్రపంచం.. అక్కడ కనిపించే మనుషులు.. వాళ్ల వస్త్రధారణ.. మనుగడ సాగించే తీరు.. అన్నీ ప్రేక్షకులకు ఓ కొత్త లోకాన్ని పరిచయం చేస్తాయి. ఠక్కున వంద ఏళ్ల వెనక్కు తీసుకెళ్లిపోతాయి. తంగలాన్‌ కథ పరిచయమైన వెంటనే కథకు కీలకమైన బంగారు గనుల అంశం తెరపైకి వస్తుంది. ఇక్కడ కథకు దర్శకుడు జోడించిన ఫాంటసీ ఎలిమెంట్‌ బాగా వర్కవుటయ్యింది. అడవి.. అందులో ఉన్న ఏనుగు కొండ.. దాని వెనుక దాగి ఉన్న బంగారు నిధి.. దాన్ని కాపుకాసే ఆరతి.. ఆమె అతీంద్రియ శక్తులు.. అలాగే గనులకు రక్షణగా ఉండే సర్పజాతి.. బంగారం దక్కించుకునే క్రమంలో తంగలాన్‌ తాతకు నాగజాతికి మధ్య జరిగిన పోరాటం.. అన్నీ సినీప్రియులకు థ్రిల్‌ పంచుతాయి. (Thangalaan review telugu) రోమాలు నిక్కబొడుచుకునేలా చేస్తాయి. ఇక బ్రిటిషర్లతో కలిసి తంగలాన్‌ బృందం బంగారం వేటకు బయల్దేరినప్పటి నుంచి కథ మరింత వేగం పుంజుకుంటుంది. ఈ ప్రయాణంలో వీళ్లకు ఎదురయ్యే సవాళ్లు.. వాటిని అధిగమించి బంగారాన్ని కనిపెట్టే తీరు ఉత్కంఠరేకెత్తిస్తాయి. ఈ క్రమంలో వచ్చే విరామ సన్నివేశాలు ద్వితీయార్ధంపై అంచనాలు పెంచేలా చేస్తాయి.

అయితే ప్రథమార్ధంలో బిగి సడలకుండా ఉత్కంఠభరితంగా సాగిన కథనం ద్వితీయార్ధంలో ఆరంభం నుంచే గాడి తప్పింది. కథంతా అక్కడక్కడే తిరుగుతున్న అనుభూతి కలుగుతుంది. బంగారాన్ని వెలికి తీసేందుకు తంగలాన్‌ తన ఊరి వాళ్లందర్ని ఆ నిధి ఉన్న ప్రాంతానికి తీసుకెళ్లడం.. అక్కడ బ్రిటిషర్ల నుంచి వారికి ఎదురయ్యే అవమానాలు.. కాస్త సాగతీతగా అనిపిస్తాయి. ఇక ప్రీక్లైమాక్స్‌లో తంగలాన్‌ బృందానికి.. బ్రిటిషర్లకు.. నాగజాతి తెగకు మధ్య జరిగే పోరు కొంత గందరగోళానికి గురి చేస్తుంది. అసలు తెరపై జరుగుతున్నది నిజమా.. తంగలాన్‌ ఊహా అన్నది ప్రేక్షకులకు ఓ పట్టాన అర్థం కాదు. క్లైమాక్స్‌లో తంగలాన్‌ పాత్రలోని మరో కోణం బయటకొస్తుంది. ఆ ట్విస్ట్‌ ప్రేక్షకులకు థ్రిల్‌ పంచుతుంది. కాకపోతే సినిమాని ముగించిన తీరు కాస్త గజిబిజిగా అనిపిస్తుంది.

Thangalaan Star Performance: (ఎవరెలా చేశారంటే): తంగలాన్‌ పాత్ర కోసం విక్రమ్‌ తనని తాను మార్చుకున్న తీరు.. ఆ పాత్ర కోసం తను పడిన కష్టం తెరపై ప్రతి ఫ్రేమ్‌లో కనిపిస్తుంది. పూర్తి డీగ్లామర్‌గా.. భిన్నమైన హెయిర్‌ స్టైల్‌.. ఒంటిపై కేవలం గోచీతో అచ్చమైన ఆదివాసిలా తను కనిపించిన తీరు.. పలికించిన హావభావాలు అందర్నీ కట్టిపడేస్తాయి. ఇలాంటి ప్రయోగాత్మక పాత్రలు ఆయన తప్ప ఇంకెవరూ ఇంత బాగా చేయరేమో అన్నట్లుగా ఉంటుంది. ఇది విక్రమ్‌ కెరీర్‌లో మరో మైలురాయి. (Thangalaan review telugu) గంగమ్మ పాత్రలో ఐదుగురు పిల్లల తల్లిగా పార్వతి కనిపించిన తీరు.. ఆమె వస్త్రధారణ.. విక్రమ్‌తో తన కెమిస్ట్రీ ఆకట్టుకుంటాయి. ఇక దీంట్లో విక్రమ్‌ తర్వాత అదే స్థాయిలో అందర్నీ ఆశ్చర్యపరిచే మరో పాత్ర మాళవిక మోహనన్‌దే. ఆరతి పాత్రలో ఆమె కనిపించిన తీరు.. తన లుక్స్‌.. విక్రమ్‌తో చేసే యాక్షన్‌ హంగామా.. అన్నీ అలరిస్తాయి. చాలా సీన్స్‌లో ఆమె స్క్రీన్‌ ప్రజెన్స్‌ ప్రేక్షకుల్ని భయపెడుతుంది. వర్ణ వ్యవస్థను రూపుమాపాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో బతికే వ్యక్తిగా పశుపతి పాత్ర ఆలోచింపజేసేలా ఉంటుంది. మిగిలిన పాత్రలన్నీ పరిధి మేరకు ఉంటాయి.

పా.రంజిత్‌ ఈ కథను ఓ విజువల్‌ వండర్‌లా తెరపై చూపించే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. కాకపోతే ఆ ప్రయత్నం కొంత మేరే ఫలించింది. ముఖ్యంగా దీంట్లో విజువల్‌ ఎఫెక్ట్స్‌ పూర్తిగా తేలిపోయాయి. అలాగే దర్శకుడు తను చెప్పాలనుకున్న సందేశాన్ని బలంగా చూపించలేకపోయాడనిపిస్తుంది. ద్వితీయార్ధాన్ని బాగా సాగదీసిన ఫీల్‌ కలుగుతుంది. ఈ చిత్రం సాంకేతికంగా చాలా విషయాల్లో బలంగా కనిపిస్తుంది. ముఖ్యంగా కాస్ట్యూమ్స్, మేకప్, ఆర్ట్స్‌ డిపార్ట్‌మెంట్స్‌ ఈ సినిమా కోసం ప్రాణం పెట్టి పని చేశాయి. అలాగే కథకు తగ్గట్లుగా జీవీ ప్రకాశ్‌ కుమార్‌ అందించిన సంగీతం కూడా ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. నిర్మాణ విలువలు ఉన్నతంగా ఉన్నాయి.

అత్యంత ప్రాచీన గిరిజన తెగకు చెందిన తంగలాన్ అలియాస్ అరణ్య ( విక్రమ్) పేదరికంతో బాధపడుతూ ఆకలికి అలమటిస్తుంటారు. ఆ ప్రాంతంలో బంగారు నిల్వలు పుష్కలంగా ఉండటంతో వాటి కోసం అన్వేషిస్తూ జీవితాన్ని కొనసాగిస్తుంటారు. ఆ క్రమంలో భూస్వాములు ఆ విషయాన్ని గుర్తించి ఈ తెగను వేధింపులు గురి చేస్తుంటారు. వారి భూములను లాగేసుకొని వారిని కూలీలు, బానిసలుగా మారుస్తారు. అయితే భూమిపై హక్కు మనకే ఉందని తంగలాన్ ఆ ప్రాంత తెగను చైతన్యం చేసేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తుంటారు. ఆ క్రమంలో బంగారం నిల్వలు లభించడంతో బ్రిటీష్ వారు అత్యాశకుపోయి వారిపై దౌర్జన్యాలకు పాల్పడుతూ.. విచక్షణా రహిత్యంగా కొడుతూ చంపుతుంటారు.

ఓ మహిమ కలిగిన ఆ ప్రాంతంలోని బంగారు నిల్వలను రక్షించే బాధ్యతను అరణ్య, ఆరతికి ఎందుకు అప్పగించారు. ఇంతకు అరణ్య, ఆరతి ఎవరు? బంగారు నిల్వల కోసం పోరాటం చేసిన తన తాత స్పూర్తిని తంగలాన్ ఎలా తీసుకొన్నాడు? ఆటవిక ప్రాంతంలో నివసించే నాగవంశానికి చెందిన గిరిజన తెగను ఎలాంటి వివక్షకు గురి చేశారు. చివరకు బ్రిటిష్ వారిని దురాక్రమణలను ఎదురించి వారి హక్కులను ఎలా సాధించుకొన్నారనే కథనే తంగలాన్ సినిమా కథ.

బంగారం కోసం నదీ జలాల్లో, కాలువల్లో అన్వేషించే ఎమోషనల్ పాయింట్‌తో కథను చెప్పిన తీరు బాగుంది. తంగలాన్‌కు తన తాత చేసిన పోరాటం కలల రూపంలో కథను నేరేట్ చేసి తీరు పా రంజిత్ ప్రతిభకు అద్దం పట్టింది. ముతక జీవనం, మట్టి వాసన గుభాలించే ఈ కథను కొంత ఆర్టిస్టిక్ వేలో చెప్పడం వల్ల కనెక్ట్ కావడానికి ఇబ్బంది అవుతుంది. కథలోని ఇంటెన్సిటీని చెప్పడానికి ఎక్కువ సమయం తీసుకోవడం వల్ల ఫస్టాఫ్ సాగదీసినట్టు అనిపిస్తుంది. కానీ సెకండాఫ్‌లో అక్కడక్కడ ల్యాగ్ ఉన్నప్పటికీ.. స్టోరీలోని ఎమోషన్స్, ప్రజల తిరుగబాటు, ఆకలి బాధలు చూపించిన తీరు సినిమాను మరో లెవెల్‌కు మార్చేలా చేసింది. గిరిజన తెగ మహిళలు తొలిసారి రవికలు ధరించిన ఎపిసోడ్ ఫన్ క్రియేట్ చేసింది. చివర్లో యాక్షన్ సీన్లు, పాముల వేట, దున్నపోతు, క్రూరమృగాలను చంపే సీన్లు కథకు బలంగా మారాయి.

అయితే తంగలాన్‌గా, అరణ్యగా రెండు డిఫరెంట్ షేడ్స్‌లో విక్రమ్ కనిపించారు. ఇక తన పాత్రలో పరకాయ ప్రవేశం చేయడం విక్రమ్ కొత్తేమీ కాదు. కథలో ఎక్కడా విక్రమ్ కనిపించకుండా కేవలం తంగలాన్ మాత్రమే కనిపించేలా నటించడం ఈ సినిమాకు ఓ బ్యూటీ. ఇప్పటి వరకు మనం ఎప్పుడూ చూడని పాత్రలో విక్రమ్ జీవించాడు. పార్వతి తిరువోత్తు రా, రస్టిక్ క్యారెక్టర్‌లో ఆకట్టుకొన్నది. ఆరతిగా మాళవిక మోహన్, పశుపతి, బ్రిటీష్ అధికారి క్లీమెంట్ క్యారెక్టర్లలో నటించిన వారంతా తన పాత్ర పరిధి మేరకు ఓకే అనిపించారు.

సాంకేతిక విభాగా పనితీరు విషయానికి వస్తే.. కే కిశోర్ కుమార్ అందించిన సినిమాటోగ్రఫి ఈ సినిమాకు ప్లస్ పాయింట్. ఆటవిక ప్రాంతాన్ని, 5వ శతాబ్దం వాతావరణాన్ని అద్బుతంగా చిత్రీకరించడమే కాకుండా మూడ్‌ను క్రియేట్ చేసిన విధానం బాగుంది. ఇక జీవీ ప్రకాశ్ బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ సూపర్బ్ అని చెప్పాలి. ఆర్టిస్టిక్‌గా సాగే కథలోని సన్నివేశాలను తన మ్యూజిక్‌తో ఎలివేట్ చేసిన తీరు సినిమాకు అదనపు బలంగా మారింది. స్టూడియో గ్రీన్ ఎంచుకొన్న సబ్జెక్ట్, దానిని రిచ్‌గా తెరకెక్కించిన తీరు వారి ప్రమాణాలకు మించి ఉంది.

కోలార్ మైన్స్‌లో బంగారం వెలికితీత సమయంలో ఆ ప్రాంతం గిరిజన, దళిత తెగలపై భూస్వాములు, బ్రీటీష్ వారి అరాచకాలను కళ్లకు కట్టి చూపించే ప్రయత్నంలో పా రంజిత్ సక్సెస్ అయ్యారు. ఎప్పటిలానే దళితవాదాన్ని వెండితెరపై బలంగా చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. అలాగే దళితులు గోమాసం, బీఫ్ ఎందుకు తినాల్సి వచ్చిందనే పాయింట్‌ను కన్విన్సింగ్‌గా చెప్పిన తీరు సినిమాలో హైలెట్‌గా నిలిచింది. మట్టివాసనతో గుభాలించిన తంగలాన్ చిత్రంలో కమర్షియల్ ఎలిమెంట్స్‌కు తక్కువేం లేవు. సింగిల్ పాయింట్‌తో నింపాదిగా సాగే ఈ సినిమాను కొంత సహనంతో చూడాల్సి ఉంటుంది. విభిన్నమైన చిత్రాలను ఆదరించే ప్రేక్షకులకు ఈ వారాంతంలో థియేటర్‌లో చూడాలనుకొనే వారికి తంగలాన్ చక్కటి ఆప్షన్.
